Melissa Joan Hart (born April 18, 1976) is an American actress, producer, and director. She had starring roles as the title characters in the sitcoms ''Clarissa Explains It All'' (1991–1994), ''Sabrina the Teenage Witch'' (1996–2003), and ''Melissa & Joey'' (2010–2015), and also in '' No Good Nick'' (2019). She has also appeared in films ''Drive Me Crazy'' (1999), ''Nine Dead'' (2009), and ''God's Not Dead 2'' (2016). On October 17, 2021, she became the first celebrity to win the $1 million top prize for her charity, Youth Villages, on ''Celebrity Wheel of Fortune'' and the fourth overall million dollar winner on ''Wheel of Fortune''. Smithtown is a town in Suffolk County, New York on the North Shore of Long Island. It is part of the New York metropolitan area. The population was 116,296 at the 2020 Census. The census-designated place (CDP) of Smithtown lies within the town's borders. History Smithtown, originally known as "Smithfield", was first settled circa 1665. Local legend has it that, after rescuing a Native American chief's abducted daughter, Richard Smith was told that the chief would grant title to all of the land Smith could encircle in one day "on a bull". "Melissa" (sometimes called "Sweet Melissa") is a song by American rock band the Allman Brothers Band, released in August 1972 as the second single from the group's fourth album, '' Eat a Peach''. The song was written by vocalist Gregg Allman in 1967, well before the founding of the group. Two demo versions from those years exist, including a version cut by the 31st of February, a band that featured Butch Trucks, the Allman Brothers' later drummer. Allman sold the publishing rights later that year, but they were reacquired by manager Phil Walden in 1972. The song's title is frequently referred to incorrectly as "Sweet Melissa" due to the lyric being sung at the end of each of the first two choruses.
