MelindaJ "Mindy" Barbieri (born 16 May 2000) is an Australian soccer player who plays for Newcastle Jets in the Australian A-League Women. She has previously played for Melbourne Victory and Adelaide United. She has represented Australia in the Australia women's national under-20 soccer team. Club career Melbourne Victory Barbieri signed with Melbourne Victory in 2015. She made her debut on 17 October 2015 in a match against Perth Glory. She made twelve appearances for the team during the 2015–16 W-League season. She scored her first goal against Western Sydney Wanderers on 12 December 2015. She scored her second goal of the season against Sydney FC on 26 December 2015. Victory finished in ninth place during the regular season with a record. 2016 AFF Women's Championship
The 2016 AFF Women's Championship was the ninth edition of the AFF Women's Championship, an international women's football tournament organised by the ASEAN Football Federation (AFF). The tournament was held in Mandalay, Myanmar between 26 July–4 August 2016. Thailand successfully defended their title after beating Vietnam in the final via penalty shoot-out. Participating teams 8 teams were set to take part in the tournament in Mandalay, Myanmar. Indonesia was suspended by FIFA at the time the group was announced. Australia sent its under-20 team. A hat-trick or hat trick is the achievement of a generally positive feat three times in a match, or another achievement based on the number three. Origin The term first appeared in 1858 in cricket, to describe H. H. Stephenson taking three wickets with three consecutive deliveries. Fans held a collection for Stephenson, and presented him with a hat bought with the proceeds. The term was used in print for the first time in 1865 in the ''Chelmsford Chronicle''.
