Mel Frederick
Melvin Lyle Frederick (November 24, 1929 – August 19, 2019) was an American politician and businessman. Frederick was born in West Concord, Minnesota. He graduated from the West Concord High School in 1947. Frederick then served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was involved in the grocery business and was the owner of Fredeick's Super Valu in West Concord. Frederick was also a stock broker. Frederick served in the Minnesota Senate from 1971 to 1990 and was a Republican. Frederick died from cancer at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester, Minnesota Rochester is a city in the U.S. state of Minnesota and the county seat of Olmsted County. West Concord, Minnesota
West Concord is a city in Dodge County, Minnesota, United States. The population was 861 at the 2020 census. History West Concord was platted in 1885. A large share of the early settlers of the area were from New England, New York or Pennsylvania and West Concord, and well as Concord Township which surrounds it, were named after Concord, New Hampshire.Robert M. The Minnesota Senate is the upper house of the Legislature of the U.S. state of Minnesota.
