Eskom Hld SOC Ltd or Eskom is a South African electricity public utility. It was established in 1923 as the Electricity Supply Commission (ESCOM) and was also known by its Afrikaans name Elektrisiteitsvoorsieningskommissie (EVKOM). Sunninghill is a commercial and residential suburb of Johannesburg in Sandton South Africa. It is located in Region A of the City of Johannesburg Metropolitan Municipality. The N1 (South Africa), N1 freeway, which at this area is eight lanes across, forms its southern boundary with access at Rivonia offramp. The K60 road runs through the centre of Sunninghill to assist in easing traffic. Sunninghill is bordered by the suburbs of Paulshof, Kyalami and Woodmead. Sandton
Sandton is an upscale commercial and residential district north of the city of Johannesburg, South Africa. It forms part of the City of Johannesburg Metropolitan Municipality. The name of the city came from the combination of two of its suburbs, Sandown and Bryanston. In 1969, Sandton was promulgated as a municipality in its own right, but lost its status as an independent city after the re-organisation of South African local governments after Apartheid ended.
