Megawati Hangestri Pertiwi
Megawati Hangestri Pertiwi (born September 20, 1999), simply known as ‘’’Megawati’’’, is an Indonesian indoor volleyball player. She is a member of the Indonesia women's national volleyball team. Megawati participated in the 2017 Southeast Asian Games. In the semifinal, she contributed the highest points when competing with Vietnam in five sets and made Indonesia qualify for the final after the last time in 1991. In the final, Indonesia lost to Thailand and won a silver medal. Volleyball is a team sport in which two teams of six players are separated by a net. Each team tries to score points by grounding a ball on the other team's court under organized rules. It has been a part of the official program of the Summer Olympic Games since Tokyo 1964. Beach volleyball was introduced to the programme at the Atlanta 1996.
