Medway Dragons
Medway Dragons are a Rugby League club based in Gillingham, Kent. They compete in the London & The South Competitions History ''Medway Dragons'' were founded on the evening of Friday 30 November 2007 at a meeting of 12 men in the, now demolished, Roseneath public house in Arden Street, Gillingham. The original plan for two teams at Under 11 and Under 13 was soon surpassed with five teams in the first season. The primary objective of the club is to provide playing and volunteering opportunities for all in the community. As well as the Primary, Junior and Men's sections, the club operate Masters and Wheelchair teams. For a period of time, the club also ran Handball and Netball sections Medway Dragons launched an open-age team in 2011 and joined the London & South Division of the Rugby League Conference finishing sixth. Dragon
A dragon is a reptilian legendary creature that appears in the folklore of many cultures worldwide. Rob Powell
Robert Powell (born ) is the head coach of Kent London & South East Men's League side Medway Dragons and the Head of Youth at the London Broncos in the Super League. He is the former head coach of the London Broncos Rugby League Club and former defence coach at Cardiff Blues Rugby Union club. Background Powell was born in Sheffield, Sheffield, Yorkshire, England. Career His background in Rugby League began in 1998 at Newcastle University, where he studied history. However, his playing experience lasted only a handful of games, and his brief playing career in the sport ended at the age of 19. After completing his bachelor's degree at Newcastle University, he started an MSc in sports management at Northumbria University, and this period of his life saw him manage his former university at Rugby League. Harry Jepson Trophy
The Harry Jepson Trophy is a rugby league competition contested by teams from successor leagues to the Rugby League Conference. It is named after Harry Jepson. History The Harry Jepson trophy was first contested in 1997 by members of the then Southern Conference. The conference was renamed the Rugby League Conference in 1998 and it began to expand from its initial base in the South of England and the Midlands. The winners of the various regional divisions would enter a play-off system culminating in a Grand Final for the trophy. In 2005, the Conference changed structure with the formation of Premier Divisions for the stronger teams, the Harry Jepson trophy was then competed for by the winners of the Premier divisions with the regional division winners playing-off for the RLC Regional trophy. In 2012, the national Conference was replaced by locally administered regional leagues but the Harry Jepson trophy continued to be contested by teams in some of these new regional leagues. ...

London Chargers R.L.F.C. are a rugby league side based in South West London who currently (2022) compete in the Southern Conference League, a tier 4 competition. They were known as the South West London Chargers up until November 2015. They were formed in 2013 as a merger between West London Sharks and South London Storm and formerly competed in the London Premier (South Premier) History ''South West London Chargers'' were formed on 17 January 2013 from the merger of South London Storm and West London Sharks. Cornish Rebels
Cornish Rebels are an amateur rugby league team based in Redruth, Cornwall. They were founded in January 2013 by John Beach and Rob Butland. Cornish Rebels RLFC are affiliated with the Rugby Football League, rugby league's governing body in the UK. Cornish Rebels RLFC currently play in the South West Rugby League, a tier four regional league. Kent Invicta
Kent Invicta is a defunct rugby league team that were based in Maidstone, Kent and later Southend in Essex. History Kent Invicta RLFC and Southend Invicta RLFC ''Kent Invicta RLFC'' was formed by a local businessman, Paul Faires, and Jim Thompson, Maidstone United FC's chairman. The club was admitted to the Rugby Football League on 6 April 1983 and entered the Second Division. The moniker "Invicta" (unvanquished) is the motto of Kent. The club colours consisted of a black shirt with an amber chevron, black shorts and black socks. The club played its first game at London Road, Maidstone, a ground it shared with Maidstone United. London Broncos
The London Broncos are a professional rugby league club in London, England. The club competes in the RFL Championship. It was a member of Super League from its inaugural season in 1996 until the end of the 2014 season, when they were relegated to the Championship.
