Žagubica ( sr-cyr, Жагубица, ; ro, Jagubița or ) is a village and municipality located in the Braničevo District of the eastern Serbia. It is situated in the geographical region of Homolje. Safet Pavlović ( sr-Cyrl, Сафет Павловић; born 18 June 1965) is a Serbian politician serving as the mayor of Žagubica since 2013. A former member of the Socialist Party of Serbia (SPS), he is now a member of the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS). Braničevo District
The Braničevo District ( sr-cyr, Браничевски округ, Braničevski okrug, ; ro, Districtul Braničevo) is one of nine administrative districts of Southern and Eastern Serbia. The Vlachs (endonym: ''Rumînji'' or ''Rumâni'', sr, Власи, Vlasi) are a Romanian-speaking ethnic minority in eastern Serbia with an origin from Wallachia (now part of Romania).
