Phnom Penh City Bus
The Phnom Penh City Bus ( km, សេវាដឹកជញ្ជូនសាធារណៈរថយន្តក្រុងរាជធានីភ្នំពេញ) is a municipal public transport system that serves Phnom Penh, the capital of Cambodia. The system opened to the public in September 2014 with 3 lines, other lines have been gradually added over the next several years. As of 2024, 21 lines run throughout the city. The system covers Prek Pnov (North), Ta Khmao (South), Chbar Ampov (East), and Special Economic Zone (West), there are plans to stretch the network outward. The fare for the public buses is KHR1,500 (US$0.37) per voyage irrespective of distance. Senior citizens (age over 70), young children (under 1 meter), disabled, monks, teachers, and students travel for free, though they must confirm their identity. Monivong Boulevard
Monivong Boulevard ( km, មហាវិថីព្រះមុនីវង្ស) is a central boulevard and thoroughfare of Phnom Penh, the capital of Cambodia. It was named after King Monivong of Cambodia. Most streets in Phnom Penh have numbers rather than names and Monivong Boulevard is also known as Street 93. It crosses Sihanouk Boulevard near the centre of the city. Route Monivong Boulevard crosses the city from north to south. The other main north south thoroughfare in the center of town is Norodom Boulevard. For most of its length, Monivong Boulevard runs parallel to Norodom Boulevard at a distance of 800 metres. Phnom Penh
Phnom Penh (; km, ភ្នំពេញ, ) is the capital and most populous city of Cambodia. It has been the national capital since the French protectorate of Cambodia and has grown to become the nation's primate city and its economic, industrial, and cultural centre. Phnom Penh succeeded Angkor Thom as the capital of the Khmer nation but was abandoned several times before being reestablished in 1865 by King Norodom. The University of Health Sciences (UHS; km, សាកលវិទ្យាល័យវិទ្យាសាស្រ្តសុខាភិបាល, ; french: Université des sciences de la santé, ) is a public university offering degrees in health sciences (medicine, pharmacy, dentistry, nursing, public health, etc.) in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. History The University of Health Sciences was first established in June 1946 as the School for Medical Officers, following which it became the Cambodian Royal School for Medicine in 1953, and the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy in 1962. Transport In Phnom Penh
The city of Phnom Penh is served by multiple transport systems including public buses, private taxis and ride-hailing via mobile apps. Phnom Penh is connected to the rest of the country through the national roads as well as by domestic flights to and from Phnom Penh International Airport.
