is a Japanese video game developer best known for the ''Wild Arms'' and ''Chaos Rings'' series of role-playing video games. Wild Arms
, also written as ''Wild ARMs'', is a media franchise developed by Media.Vision and owned by Sony Computer Entertainment. The franchise consists of several role-playing video game, role-playing video games and related media. Since the launch of the original ''Wild Arms'' title in 1996, the series has gone on to encompass several media, including toys, manga, Mobile game, mobile phone applications, and a 22-episode anime. Wild Arms (video Game)
is a role-playing video game developed by Japanese company Media.Vision. Originally released in Japan in 1996 for the PlayStation, it was later translated and released in North America in 1997 and Europe in 1998 by Sony Computer Entertainment. It features a fantasy setting and motif and 2D computer graphics for normal gameplay, while battle sequences are rendered in 3D. Taking place in the fantasy world of Filgaia, ''Wild Arms'' follows the adventures of a band of miscreants and adventurers called Dream Chasers who scour the world in search of excitement and fortune. Chaos Rings
''Chaos Rings'' is a role-playing video game series released primarily on mobile platforms. It is developed by Media.Vision and published by Square Enix. The eponymous first game in the series was released for iOS in 2010, then later ported to other mobile and portable platforms including Android and PlayStation Vita. There are currently four games in the ''Chaos Rings'' series, and each uses the same gameplay base. Effective May 31, 2016, Square Enix ended distribution of the first three games in the series on Google Play and Apple's App Store, leaving Chaos Rings III as the only title still available for download or purchase on those markets. ''Rapid Reload'', known in Japan as , is a run and gun video game developed by Media.Vision and published by Sony Computer Entertainment for the PlayStation in both Japan and Europe in 1995. The game was re-released on the PlayStation Network in Japan in 2007 and in Asia in 2010. Gameplay The gameplay of ''Rapid Reload'' is often compared to the Treasure game ''Gunstar Heroes''. The players choose to play as either male character Axel or female character Ruka through the game's six levels. The player can switch between four different weapons with a normal machine pistol, flamethrower, homing laser, and multi-directional cannons. The characters each have their own set of four weapons, totaling the weapons in the game to eight. Also available is a grappling hook that will latch onto any wall or ceiling.
