Andreas Von Der Meden
Andreas von der Meden (10 January 1943 – 26 April 2017) was a German actor, voice actor and musician who was best known as the German dubbing voice for David Hasselhoff as well as Kermit the Frog in many Muppet productions. Biography Von der Meden started off in 1948 working as a child actor at the Thalia Theater. He also made his first screen appearance in 1949 in a film directed by Gustav Fröhlich. Later on in life, he appeared in the 1959 crime film ''Der Andere'' as Roger Ford as well as the crime drama series '' Hamburg Transit''. As a voice actor, Von der Meden was renowned as the official German voice of David Hasselhoff, usually dubbing him in a majority of his work such as '' Baywatch'' in the role of Mitch Buchannon. Carl August von der Meden (6 December 1841 – 23 May 1911) was the first president of the Deutscher Tennis Bund (English: German Tennis Federation) and was called the ''Father of lawn tennis in Germany''. Von der Meden was born on 6 December 1841, the son of a Hamburg merchant and real estate agent. For over a decade he lived in England and worked in the financial district of London. On his way to work he passed the All England Club in Wimbledon. On 9 December 1868 he married Sophie Mathlde Eckhardt in Bradford and the couple had three daughters and one son. Meden School
Meden School is a mixed secondary school and sixth form in Market Warsop, Nottinghamshire, England, with 860 pupils at the Ofsted report of 2014, of which 116 were sixth-formers. The school is a member of the Nova Education Trust, which includes Birklands Primary in Warsop. History The local area is historically a coal-mining area in the greater Mansfield district, with nearby Welbeck Colliery at Meden Vale closing in 2010. The school is next to the main A60 road and near the River Meden, with the Meden Sports Centre, which has a small swimming pool, integral to the site. It closed in 2018, and a small part of the building is used by the school. The school opened as the Meden Comprehensive School on 7 September 1965. The official opening took place on 8 June 1966 attended by the Secretary to the Council for Education in World Citizenship. Meden Vale
Meden Vale is a small former coal mining village originally known as Welbeck Colliery Village prior to renaming in the late 1960s. It is situated close to the small town of Market Warsop, in north Nottinghamshire, England, off the main A60 Mansfield to Worksop road, and lies within Mansfield District Council administrative area and Mansfield Parliamentary constituency, represented since 2017 by Ben Bradley of the Conservative Party. It is in the civil parish of Warsop. There is a small collection of shops, Post Office, a garage and the Three Lions public house. The River Meden flows through the village alongside the main road. The village has a rugby union side which plays in the RFU Midlands 5 East (North) division.
