Salah Halabi
Lieutenant General Salah Mohamed Attia Halabi (January 30, 1937 – October 26, 2014) was an Egyptian Army officer. he commanded an infantry brigade, an infantry division, the Third Army, and commanded the two-division Corps Sized Egyptian expeditionary force to Saudi Arabia during Operation Desert Storm. In 1989-91, the Egyptian II Corps under Halabi, at that point a major general, with the 3rd Mechanized Division and the 4th Armoured Division, fought as part of the Arab Joint Forces Command North during Operation Desert Storm. Magdy Fouad Hegazy ( ar, مجدي فؤاد حجازي; born 6 August 1953) is the Egyptian former governor of Aswan Governorate, Egypt. He was appointed by President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi on December 26, 2015. He was formerly Chief of Air Defense Staff the Egyptian Air Defense Command. General Hegazy studied in the Air Defense College and graduated on September 1, 1973, and served as a platoon radar officer of an SA-6 platoon. Mohammed Aly Fahmy
Mohammed Aly Fahmy (11 October 1920 – 11 September 1999) was an Egyptian field marshal, known as the "Father of the Egyptian Air Defense". Early life, education and early career Fahmy was born in Cairo in 1920. He received a degree in engineering from the Cairo University. Then he graduated from the Egyptian Military Academy in 1940 and from the Air Defense Academy in Kalinin, Soviet Union. Following his qraduation Fahmy was commissioned in a cavalry unit and initially commanded armored platoons and squadrons equipped with Cruiser Mk I, Mk II, Crusader and Sherman tanks. Osama El-Gendi ( ar, أسامة الجندي; born 18 January 1953) is an officer in the Egyptian military. He graduated from the Naval Academy in Alexandria in 1973 in time to serve on a frigate as a fire direction officer during the Yom Kippur War and saw action outside the territorial waters near Damietta. Magdy Hatata (born 1941) is an Egyptian military officer who held various positions during the Presidency of Hosni Mubarak. Biography Hatata was born in 1941. He received a master of arts degree in military science and a fellowship of the Nasser Military Academy’s Higher War College. He served as the commander of the second field army. He also headed the Republican Guard being the fifth commander of the guard under Mubarak. He was one of the military personnel fought against Israel in 1973. Youssef Sabri Abu Taleb Giad Al-Haq (Arabic: يوسف صبري أبوطالب جادالحق; May 1929 – 29 September 2008) was an Egyptian colonel general and the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces. Military career Abu Taleb participated in five wars from the 1948 Palestine war until the gulf war. Hatem Abdul Fatah Saber, formerly known as The Unknown Commander, was an Egyptian Army Colonel, who served as the commander of Unit 777 and the Unit 999 Egypt's most important military units.
