Meatbodies is an American psychedelic rock band, formed in 2011 in Los Angeles, California by Chad Ubovich. The band is currently composed of Chad Ubovich, Dylan Fujioka, Noah Guevara, and Casey Hanson. History Formation and ''Meatbodies'' (2011–2014) Prior to forming Meatbodies, Chad Ubovich occupied the role of bass guitarist for the Mikal Cronin band and went on tour with Ty Segall as he toured his studio album, '' Goodbye Bread'' (2011). Ubovich soon switched to guitar within the band and toured with Cronin for the next 5 years. While touring, Ubovich began working on the songs that would become the band's debut album, ''Meatbodies'' (2014). Going under the moniker Chad and the Meatbodies, he supported different acts around Los Angeles including Ty Segall and Charles Moothart's hard rock band Fuzz, which he would later join. Chris Woodhouse is an American recording engineer, record producer and multi-instrumentalist. He is best known for his work with the San Francisco-based garage rock acts, Thee Oh Sees, Ty Segall, The Intelligence, Sic Alps and Fuzz. Alongside his recording duties, Woodhouse is a former member of both The Intelligence and Mayyors, and often contributes musically to Thee Oh Sees. He was listed as a full contributing band member on the band's studio albums, ''Drop'' (2014) and '' Mutilator Defeated At Last'' (2015). Fuzz (band)
Fuzz is a rock band from San Francisco, California, United States, formed in 2011. The band consists of Charles Moothart (vocals, guitar), Ty Segall (vocals, drums) and Chad Ubovich (vocals, bass guitar). Created as an outlet for Moothart's affection for hard rock riffs, Fuzz began as collaboration between Moothart and Segall, while Moothart performed in Segall's live band. In 2012, they released two singles, "This Time I Got a Reason" and "Sleigh Ride", and were joined by the bass guitarist Roland Cosio. In October 2013, the band released its first album, '' Fuzz''. While touring the album, Ubovich ( Meatbodies and Mikal Cronin Band) replaced Cosio on bass guitar. Wand is an American psychedelic rock band from Los Angeles, California, United States, formed in 2013. The band consists of Cory Hanson (vocals, guitar), Sofia Arreguin (synth, vocals), Robert Cody (guitar), Lee Landey (bass) and Evan Burrows (drums). Together Pangea (sometimes stylized as together PANGEA) is an American rock band from Santa Clarita, California that is based in Los Angeles, California. The group has released four full-length albums and is currently signed to Nettwerk Records. Mikal Cronin
Michael "Mikal" Patrick Cronin (born 1985) is an American musician and songwriter. He has released four solo albums and several singles. Cronin was a member of the bands Okie Dokie, Epsilons, Party Fowl and Moonhearts, and is a regular and longtime member of Ty Segall's live band, contributing bass guitar, backing vocals and saxophone; he has also released an album and a single in collaboration with Segall. Cronin earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts in music from California Institute of the Arts. Upsilon Acrux is an American progressive rock band from Los Angeles formed in 1998. History Upsilon Acrux first appeared on record on a 1998 compilation entitled ''Trummerflora 2''.
