Meadow Vale is a List of cities in Kentucky, home rule-class city in Jefferson County, Kentucky, Jefferson County, Kentucky, United States. As of the 2010 United States Census, 2010 census the population was 736. History The Meadow Vale Subdivision (land), subdivision was developed in 1963 on the site of wheat and hay farmlands. Meadow Vale was incorporated as a sixth-class city in 1967, and annexed one-hundred more homes in December of that year. Geography Meadow Vale is located in northeastern Jefferson County. It is bordered to the northwest by Rolling Hills, Kentucky, Rolling Hills, to the southwest by Meadowbrook Farm, Kentucky, Meadowbrook Farm, and on all other sides by consolidated Louisville, Kentucky, Louisville/Jefferson County. Kentucky Route 1747 (KY 1747) is an 18.424 mile (29.651 km) long north–south state highway in the immediate suburbs of Louisville, Kentucky. Route description The southern terminus of the route is at Grade Lane in the shadow of the Louisville International Airport in Louisville.
