Mduduzi Manana
Mduduzi Manana was the South African Deputy Minister of Higher Education and Training and member of parliament from 2009 to 2017. Manana earned a BA degree in Political Science and Sociology from University of Natal and was elected to the Regional Executive Committee (REC) of the ANCYL in the Gert Sibande Region in 2006. In 2009, he served in the International Relations & Cooperation and Public Works Portfolio Committees and was later appointed a Whip of the Portfolio Committees on Transport and Public Service and Administration and Governance and Monitoring Cluster in 2011. Assault allegations and charges On 5 August 2017, Mduduzi Manana was involved in an altercation in which he assaulted 3 women for allegedly calling him "gay". This happened at a night club in Johannesburg in the early hours of the morning. He later confessed when he was being confronted by the brother of one of the victims. Ermelo, Mpumalanga
Ermelo () is the educational, industrial and commercial town of the 7,750 km2 Gert Sibande District Municipality in Mpumalanga province, Republic of South Africa. It is both a mixed agriculture and mining region. It is located 210 km east of Johannesburg. History Some of the earliest inhabitants of the area were the Leghoya people. Not much is known about them, but ruins of their settlements dating back to c.1400 can be found in the area. During the mid-1800s, the area prior to the formation as a village, was an ''outspan'' area for resting teams of draw animals transporting goods across the region mainly due to the water of the small lakes dotting the area. Modern Ermelo was founded by Dutch Reformed Church Reverend Frans Lion Cachet (1835–1899). He would minister to the many farms in the area. University Of Natal
The University of Natal was a university in the former South African province Natal which later became KwaZulu-Natal. The University of Natal no longer exists as a distinct legal entity, as it was incorporated into the University of KwaZulu-Natal on 1 January 2004. It was founded in 1910 as the Natal University College in Pietermaritzburg and expanded to include a campus in Durban in 1931. In 1947, the university opened a medical school for non-white students in Durban. The African National Congress Youth League (ANCYL) is the youth wing of the African National Congress (ANC). As set out in its constitution, the ANC Youth League is led by a National Executive Committee (NEC) and a National Working Committee (NWC). Foundation The idea of the formation of the ANC youth league started in 1943, in Orlando, Soweto at Walter Sisulu's house by Anton Lembede, A.P. Mda, Jordan Ngubane, Nelson Mandela and Oliver Tambo. Its founders felt that ANC was dominated by conservative and older generation who cannot relate to the youth. Fikile April Mbalula (born 1 April 1971 in the Free State) is a South African politician who is currently serving in the cabinet as Minister of Transport. He previously served as both Minister and Deputy Minister of Police and Minister of Sports and Recreation. Mbalula is the Secretary-General of the African National Congress (ANC) and a former leader of the African National Congress Youth League. Mbalula also serves as the head of elections for the African National Congress.
