Md. Nazrul Islam Talukder is a judge of the High Court Division of Bangladesh Supreme Court. He is a member of Bangladesh Judicial Service Commission. Early life Talukder was born on 1 December 1964. He has a bachelors and masters in law. Career Talukder became a lawyer of the District Courts on 16 October 1991. On 21 August 1993, Talukder became a lawyer of the High Court Division of Bangladesh Supreme Court. Talukder became a lawyer on the Appellate Division of Bangladesh Supreme Court on 12 May 2008. On 4 November 2010, Talukder was appointed an additional judge of the High Court Division of Bangladesh Supreme Court. On 15 October 2012, Talukder was confirmed as a permanent judge of the High Court Division of Bangladesh Supreme Court. High Court Division
The High Court Division, Supreme Court of Bangladesh ( bn, হাইকোর্ট ডিভিশন) popularly known as the 'High Court' is one of the two divisions of the Supreme Court of Bangladesh, the other division being the Appellate Division. It consists of the Chief Justice of Bangladesh and the Judges of the High Court Division. The High Court Division exercises both original jurisdiction and appellate jurisdiction in civil and criminal matters. The Anti Corruption Commission ( bn, দুর্নীতি দমন কমিশন) ''often abbreviated:'' ACC ( bn, দুদক) is the principal government agency against corruption in Bangladesh. History The Anti Corruption Commission was formed through an act promulgated on 23 February 2004 that came into force on 9 May 2004. Although initially, it could not make the desired impact, but immediately following its reconstitution in February 2007, the ACC began working with renewed vigor and impetus duly acceding to the United Nations' convention against corruption that was adopted by the General Assembly away back on 31 October 2003. Zainul Abdin Farroque is a Bangladesh Nationalist Party politician and a former member of parliament for Noakhali-2 and Noakhali-1. Early life Zainul Abdin Farroque was born on 10 December 1949. Career In 2009 Farroque was elected to Parliament as an opposition Member of Parliament and appointed the opposition whip. On 6 July 2011 he was injured by members of Bangladesh Police in an opposition demonstration near the Bangladesh Parliament. He sued the police officers involved and filled a 100 million taka lawsuit against the government. Mohi Uddin Shamim is a Justice of the High Court Division of the Bangladesh Supreme Court. Early life Shamim was born on 19 May 1970. He has a bachelor's and master's in law from the University of Dhaka. He did a second bachelor of law from the University of Wolverhampton.
