Clem McSpadden
Clem Rogers McSpadden (November 9, 1925 – July 7, 2008) was an American rodeo announcer and politician. A member of the Democratic Party (United States), Democratic Party, he served as a United States House of Representatives, U.S. Representative from Oklahoma's Oklahoma's 2nd congressional district, 2nd Congressional District for one full term from 1973 to 1975. Prior to his election to the U.S. House, McSpadden was a member of the Oklahoma Senate between 1954 and 1972. He was the grandnephew of Oklahoma comedian and actor Will Rogers. Gary McSpadden
Gary McSpadden (January 26, 1943 – April 15, 2020) was an American pastor, singer, songwriter, record producer, television host and motivational speaker. He had musical roots in quartet music and Southern gospel with Statesmen quartet, The Statesmen, The Oak Ridge Boys, The Imperials, The Bill Gaither Trio, and The Gaither Vocal Band. McSpadden's songs include "Jesus Lord To Me", "Hallelujah Praise The Lamb", and "No Other Name But Jesus". He has produced albums for numerous groups. In 1987, he co-hosted ''The PTL Club, PTL Today'' after Jim Bakker resigned. McSpadden went on to produce television programs, including the "Jubilee" concert series filmed at Silver Dollar City in Branson, Missouri. Lara Gweneth McSpadden (born 2 April 1999) is an Australian professional basketball player for the Sydney Flames of the Women's National Basketball League (WNBL). Early life McSpadden was born in Penrith, New South Wales. Professional career WNBL McSpadden began her professional career with the Sydney Uni Flames in the 2016–17 WNBL season. She played four seasons for the Flames, leaving following the 2019–20 WNBL season. McSpadden joined the Townsville Fire for the 2020 WNBL Hub season in Queensland. Lealand McSpadden
Lealand McSpadden (born July 16, 1946) is a former dirt track racing driver who competed mostly in sprint and midget cars. He was nicknamed "The Tempe Tornado". Career Born in Gallup, New Mexico, McSpadden's family moved to Tempe, a suburb of Phoenix, Arizona, in 1954. He began racing in 1968 with a supermodified bought from local racer Billy Shuman. He recorded his first sprint car feature race win at Manzanita Speedway in 1972. McSpadden's 26-year career included nearly 200 feature wins, including 25 in five different divisions at Manzanita during the 1977 season. His awards are numerous; he is a three-time winner of the Western World Championship for sprint cars (1978, 1993, 1995) and he won the 1991 Chili Bowl midget car event. He also entered and won the Belleville Midget National Championships on the high banks in 1992. Phil McSpadden is an American softball coach. With a record of 1,860–404, he has more wins than any other coach in the history of college softball. He has led the Oklahoma City University softball team to eleven NAIA national titles in 1994, 1995, 1996, 1997, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2007, 2016, 2017, and 2022. Richard Gibson McSpadden (1960 – October 1, 2023) was an American educator and pilot. He became the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA) Air Safety Institute (ASI) senior vice-president in 2020, having previously been its executive director from 2017. Early life Richard Gibson McSpadden was born in Panama City, Florida, to Ann and Richard McSpadden, one of their four children. McSpadden began flying in his teenage years, inspired by his pilot father, and was based out of Air Harbor Airport in Greensboro, North Carolina.
