Raymond Clyne McNichols (June 16, 1914 – December 25, 1985) was a United States district judge of the United States District Court for the District of Idaho. Education and career Born in Bonners Ferry, Idaho, and raised in Lewiston, McNichols served in the United States Navy during World War II, from 1942 to 1947, under Raymond A. Spruance. He attended the University of Idaho in Moscow and received a Bachelor of Laws from its College of Law in 1950. He was in private practice in Orofino in Clearwater County, Idaho from 1950 to 1964. He was a member of the Democratic Party. Federal judicial service On April 15, 1964, McNichols was nominated by President Lyndon B. Johnson to a seat on the United States District Court for the District of Idaho vacated by the retirement of Judge Chase A. Clark. Robert James McNichols (April 19, 1922 – December 20, 1992) was a United States district judge of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Washington. Education and career McNichols was born in Bonners Ferry, Idaho. He was in the United States Army during World War II, from 1940 to 1941 and from 1943 to 1946 and became a technician fifth grade. He attended Washington State College in Pullman, Washington and the Gonzaga University School of Law in Spokane, Washington. Following his first year as a law student in 1949, he worked for the Spokane Stock Exchange as a quotation clerk, and received a Bachelor of Laws from Gonzaga in 1952. McNichols was a law clerk to Washington Supreme Court Justice Edward Schaellenback in 1952. William Hart McNichols (born July 10, 1949) is a Catholic priest and artist from the United States. Early life McNichols was born to Marjory Hart and Stephen L.R. McNichols on July 10, 1949, at St. Joseph's Hospital in Denver, Colorado. McNichols' childhood was dominated by American politics and religion. His grandfather was city auditor for 30 years and, by 2nd grade his father was elected as Colorado's 35th governor. His uncle, William H. McNichols Jr., was mayor of Denver for 14 years. The family lived at the Cheesman-Boettcher Mansion in downtown Denver. As an 11 year old child, McNichols attended the 1960 Democratic National Convention in Los Angeles, California.
