Matthew McNair Secondary School is a public high school in Richmond, British Columbia and is part of School District 38 Richmond. Matthew McNair is one of the semester-style schools in Richmond. Richmond, British Columbia
Richmond is a coastal city in the Lower Mainland region of British Columbia, Canada. It occupies almost the entirety of Lulu Island (excluding Queensborough), between the two estuarine distributaries of the Fraser River. Mark Karpun
Mark Edward Karpun (born June 12, 1963) is a Canadian retired soccer player that played in the North American Soccer League, the Major Indoor Soccer League the Canadian Soccer League and for the Canadian Men's National Team. He is also noted for having twice scored the golden goal of sudden-death overtime to win an indoor championship final. Early life Mark Karpun was born in Vancouver, British Columbia. He played for B.C. Travellers at age 13, and later for McNair High School in Richmond, B.C. North American Soccer League Karpun was chosen straight out of McNair by the Calgary Boomers with the 17th pick of the first round of the 1981 NASL draft. He joined the Boomers in June after graduating high school and played on an amateur contract through the remainder of the 1981 season. Bhupinder "Bindy" Singh Johal (January 14, 1971 – December 20, 1998) was a Canadian gangster from British Columbia, Canada. A self-confessed drug trafficker, he was known for his outspoken nature, blatant disregard for authority and his longtime rivalry with former mentors Ranjit Cheema and rival Punjabi Mafia faction led by the Dosanjh brothers and Robbie Kandola. Jonathan Gallivan (born in Toronto, Ontario) is a Québec-based producer, musician, and multi-media developer for Gallivan Media. He co-founded the band My Brilliant Beast with Byron Kent Wong and Julia Galios in 1993. For 1995, My Brilliant Beast's song ''Fall Away'', from their self-titled EP, was a Top 30 hit on Canadian radio. He joined Random Media Core Inc. in 1993, a Canadian company dedicated to music, design, marketing, and new media. Evan Dunfee
Evan Dunfee (born September 28, 1990) is a Canadian race walker and Olympian. An Olympic and World medallist, Dunfee first set the Canadian record in the 50 kilometres race walk (at 3:41:38) at the 2016 Summer Olympics, where he placed fourth. He went on to win bronze medals at the 2019 World Athletics Championships and the 2020 Summer Olympics, both of those the last time the 50 km was to be featured as an event. Volleyball
Volleyball is a team sport in which two teams of six players are separated by a net. Each team tries to score points by grounding a ball on the other team's court under organized rules.
