McKinze Gaines
Orrin McKinze Gaines II (born March 2, 1998) is an American professional soccer player who plays as a winger for Major League Soccer club Nashville SC. Career Gaines grew up in the Austin area where he played youth soccer for Lonestar Soccer Club. On August 12, 2017, Gaines made his professional debut against Jahn Regensburg in the DFB-Pokal. On July 8, 2019, Gaines signed with Sonnenhof Großaspach. Gaines joined Hannover 96 ahead of the 2020–21 season, starting with the team's reserve squad. He made his debut for the first team against SC Paderborn in the 2. Bundesliga. He left the club ahead of the 2021–22 season. Austin FC On July 14, 2021, Gaines began trialing with Major League Soccer club Austin FC, coming on as a substitute in the club's friendly against Tigres UANL. The Regionalliga () is the fourth tier in the German football league system. Until 1974, it was the second tier in Germany. In 1994, it was introduced as the third tier. Upon the creation of the new nationwide 3. Liga in 2008, it became the fourth tier. 2020–21 Regionalliga
The 2020–21 Regionalliga was the 13th season of the Regionalliga, the ninth under the new format, as the fourth tier of the German football league system. Format A new promotion format was decided on in 2019. From this season onward, the Regionalliga Südwest and West receive a fixed promotion spot. A third promotion spot rotates between the other three divisions, with the remaining two champions participating in play-offs for a fourth spot. 2024 MLS SuperDraft
The 2024 MLS SuperDraft was the 25th edition of the MLS SuperDraft, a Draft (sports), sports draft to select amateur, usually collegiate, soccer players that are not affiliate with an MLS club, or college soccer in the United States, college soccer players that had their Homegrown player rule (MLS), Homegrown player rights relinquished by their parent MLS club. The draft will be held on December 19, 2023, marking the second year in a row that the draft will be held in December. Despite the draft being held in 2023, the draft retained the 2024 branding. The 2021 MLS Expansion Draft was a special draft for the Major League Soccer expansion team Charlotte FC that was held on December 14, 2021. The list of exposed players was revealed on December 13, 2021. The picks were made on December 14, 2021 at 7:00 PM ET with Charlotte selecting McKinze Gaines, Anton Walkes, Joseph Mora, Tristan Blackmon, and Ismael Tajouri-Shradi.
