McKinnon Secondary College
McKinnon Secondary College is a public secondary school located in the Melbourne suburb of McKinnon. The school was ranked 62nd in Victoria in terms of VCE median study score in 2012. In February 2022, the school opened a second campus located in Bentleigh East to be designated to Year 8 and Year 9 students. This new campus was officially dubbed the East Campus. Pizza Binnion, the principal, is retiring at the end of 2022, with Mr Korn becoming the new principal. McKinnon, Victoria
McKinnon is a suburb in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, 12 km south-east of Melbourne's Central Business District, located within the City of Glen Eira local government area. McKinnon recorded a population of 6,878 at the 2021 census. McKinnon is bounded by Murray Road, Lewis Street and Blackshaw Street to the north, Tucker Road to the east, Abergeldie Avenue, Lindsay Street, Field Street, Nicholson Street, Fitzroy Street and Elster Creek to the south and Thomas Street to the west. Sarah Paige Aarons (born 4 October 1994, previously known as Paige IV and sometimes simply as Sarah) is a songwriter from Bentleigh, Melbourne, Australia. Now based in Los Angeles, Aarons is signed to Sony ATV Publishing. She co-wrote "Stay" by Zedd and Alessia Cara and " The Middle" by Zedd, Maren Morris and Grey, which both went to #1 on Mainstream Top 40 and were each certified double platinum in the US. Max Gawn (born 30 December 1991) is a professional Australian rules footballer playing for the Melbourne Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). A ruckman, 208 cm tall and weighing 108 kg, Gawn is capable of contributing in both the ruck and forward line. The Cat Empire
The Cat Empire are an Australian jazz/funk band, formed in Melbourne, Victoria, in 1999. For most of the band's duration, the core members were Felix Riebl (lead vocals, percussion), Harry James Angus (trumpet, vocals), Will Hull-Brown (drums), Jamshid "Jumps" Khadiwhala (turntables, percussion), Ollie McGill (keyboards, backing vocals) and Ryan Monro (bass, backing vocals). Harry James Angus
Harry James Angus (born 11 June 1982 Melbourne) is an Australian singer-songwriter, trumpet player and guitarist. He was one of the lead vocalists in the Melbourne band The Cat Empire along with Felix Riebl. He joined the group in early 2000 and left when the original line-up disbanded in 2021. He is the nephew of comedian, actress and writer, Mary-Anne Fahey (famous for playing Kylie Mole on The Comedy Company).
