Adam McKinlay
Adam Storey McKinlay (27 December 1887 – 17 March 1950) was a Scottish Labour Party politician. He was a Member of Parliament (MP) from 1929 to 1931, and from 1941 to 1950. McKinlay was born in Govan, Glasgow in December 1887 to Hugh McKinlay and Lizzie Storey. At the 1929 general election, McKinlay was elected as MP for Glasgow Partick. He was defeated in 1931 and was unsuccessful when he stood again in 1935. He also stood unsuccessfully in the 1935 Perth by-election. He returned to the House of Commons when he won a by-election in on 27 February 1941 for the Dunbartonshire constituency. Billy McKinlay
William James Alexander McKinlay (born 22 April 1969) is a Scottish football manager and former professional footballer who is assistant manager of West Ham United. As a player, he was a midfielder who notably played in the Premier League for Blackburn Rovers, Leicester City, Bradford City and Fulham. He also played in the Scottish Premiership for Dundee United, the Football League for Preston North End and the Scottish Football League for Clydebank. McKinlay appeared 29 times for Scotland and played at Euro 1996 and the 1998 World Cup. As a coach, he has worked for Fulham, the Northern Ireland national team and Watford. He was appointed Watford head coach in September 2014 but left the post after eight days. After a spell as assistant head coach with Real Sociedad in Spain, he joined Norwegian club Stabæk in November 2015, before being sacked in July 2016. John Robert Vickers (Ken) McKinlay (7 June 1928 – 9 February 2003) was an international speedway rider, captaining Scotland, England, Great Britain and Europe teams. He also finished on the rostrum of the British Speedway Championship finals twice, second in 1964 and third in 1965. His nickname Hurri-Ken was given to him by famous speedway promoter Johnnie Hoskins. Thomas Valley "Tosh" McKinlay (born 3 December 1964) is a Scottish former footballer. A fullback or wingback, he spent most of his career in Scotland playing for Dundee, Heart of Midlothian, Celtic and Kilmarnock. He also played for English club Stoke City and Swiss side Grasshoppers. He won 22 international caps for Scotland. McKinlay currently works for Celtic as a scout. McKinley, MacKinley or Mackinlay is a Scottish and Irish surname historically associated with northwestern Ireland's County Donegal, the over-kingdom of Ulaid in northeastern Ireland and the Scottish Highlands.
