Allyn McKeen
Allyn McKeen (January 26, 1905 – September 13, 1978) was an American football player and coach. He served as the head coach at West Tennessee State Normal School, now the University of Memphis, from 1937 to 1938 and at Mississippi State College, now Mississippi State University, from 1939 to 1948, compiling a career college football record of 78–25–3. He was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame as a coach in 1991. Playing career McKeen played football as a guard and end at the University of Tennessee from 1925 to 1927, where he earned all-state honors. He was also the captain of the men's basketball and track teams. He helped preserve the tie with Vanderbilt by covering Bill Spears's receivers. Coaching career From 1937 to 1938, McKeen coached at West Tennessee State Teachers College, now known as the University of Memphis, where he compiled a 13–6 record. Angus McKeen
Angus McKeen (born 13 February 1969) is a retired Irish rugby union footballer. He won one cap for Ireland at the 1999 Rugby World Cup, as well as playing for Lansdowne Football Club and Leinster. His position was tight-head prop-forward. He is a past-pupil of The King's Hospital school in Dublin. McKeen fulfilled his rugby ambition when he won an international cap for Ireland against Romania in the 1999 World Cup. McKeen was the first Lansdowne player to reach the 100 AIL match milestone. In total he represented Lansdowne 130 times in the AIL. He is in second place overall in Lansdowne AIL history. His international debut was against Romania on October 15, 1999 at Lansdowne Road Stadium. Robert Van Sickle McKeen (November 30, 1933 – December 31, 1999) was an American basketball player, best known for his All-American college career at the University of California, Berkeley. McKeen, a 6'7 center out of Piedmont High School in Piedmont, California, played for the Cal Golden Bears under coaches Nibs Price and Pete Newell. He was a four-year starter for the Bears, earning all-Pacific Coast Conference accolades in each of his four seasons. He was also named an honorable mention All-American by the Associated Press and a second-team All-American pick by the International News Service. McKeen left Cal as the school's all-time leading scorer (1,632 points, record since eclipsed) and rebounder (1,019). Charles Milton McKeen (May 10, 1885 – November 7, 1972) was a provincial politician from Alberta, Canada. He served as a member of the Legislative Assembly of Alberta from 1921 to 1935 sitting with the United Farmers caucus in government. Political career McKeen ran for a seat to the Alberta Legislature in the Lac Ste. Anne electoral district as a United Farmers of Alberta candidate in the 1921 Alberta general election. John Herbert Ross McKeen (born October 19, 1946), is a Canadian physician, acupuncturist, author and lecturer who co-founded the Haven Institute (Gabriola Island, Canada) with Bennet Wong. He has written on East-West medicine, alternative medicine, holistic health, Asian studies and personal growth. Education and honours McKeen received his M.D. from the University of Western Ontario in 1970, and did his medical internship at the Royal Columbian Hospital, New Westminster, B.C., Canada, 1970-71. Robert McKeen (12 July 1884 – 5 August 1974) was a New Zealand politician of the Labour Party. He was Speaker of the House of Representatives. Early life He was born in 1884 in Edinburgh and received his education in West Calder, West Lothian, Scotland. In Scotland, he was active in the labour movement, and worked as a grocer's assistant in a co-operative store. Stan McKeen (born April 9, 1982, in Vancouver, British Columbia) is a Canadian rugby union player. Rugby career McKeen began his rugby career at St. George's School in Vancouver and eventually found himself playing for the UBC Old Boys rugby club. While still a youngster Stan achieved provincial representative honours and in 2001 played for his country in the U-19s World Cup tournament. McKeen has also played for the Pacific Pride, Canada's under-23 elite rugby academy, and featured in the side's successful tour of eastern Canada in 2006.
