Frances Rose McIver (born 10 October 1988) is a New Zealand actress. She starred as Olivia "Liv" Moore in The CW supernatural comedy-drama series '' iZombie'' (2015–2019) and played Summer Landsdown the Yellow Ranger in ''Power Rangers RPM'' (2009). Pearl McIver
Pearl McIver (June 23, 1893 – 1976) was an American nurse and public official. She was noted for her work with the United States Public Health Service (USPHS) and was the first nurse to be employed by the body in providing consultation services on nursing administration. McIver later served with various health organizations, and retired in 1957 after being the USPHS' Chief of the Division of Public Health Nursing. She was inducted into the American Nurses Association Hall of Fame in 2014. Biography Early life McIver was born on June 23, 1893, in Lowry, Minnesota. Charles Duncan McIver
Charles Duncan McIver (September 27, 1860 – September 17, 1906) was the founder and first president of the institution now known as The University of North Carolina at Greensboro. He was born 1860 in Lee County, North Carolina and graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill, where he was a member of the Dialectic and Philanthropic Societies, in 1881. McIver became a teacher in Durham and Winston North Carolina until 1889 when he and Edwin A. Alderman were chosen by the Office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction to hold teacher institutes across the state. As crusaders for women′s education, McIver and Alderman first drew up a plan for a state-supported teachers′ college in 1886. In 1891, they advocated for a new bill focused on a teachers′ college specifically for women (not co–educational). Richard McIver (June 14, 1941 – March 9, 2013) was a member of the Seattle City Council. He was selected from 114 applicants to fill a vacancy on the Council in January 1997, was elected to the position that fall, and was reelected in 2001 and 2005. As of October 2007 he was chair of the Finance & Budget and Budget Committees, vice-chair of the Economic Development & Neighborhoods Committee, and a member of the Housing, Human Services & Health Committee. Evander McIver (1834 – 28 June 1902) was an Australian architect, engineer and surveyor. McIver is best known for a number of Gothic Revival, mostly Presbyterian churches he designed in Melbourne, Australia, during the "boom" era of the 1880s. Early life Evander McIver was born in 1835 in Assynt, in the north west of Scotland. He was the son of a crofter and mason, Kenth McIver. Evander initially trained as a stonemason then the manager of the Duke of Sutherland’s estates, recognised his talent and assisted him to be trained in architectural studies. Margaret Elizabeth McIver (7 August 1933 – 21 July 2020) was an Australian Equestrianism, equestrian, dressage coach and judge. Before switching to dressage, McIver competed at the Melbourne Royal and at other Victorian shows in showjumping on Bonanza and also in eventing on Pyewacket. McIver was the first Australian to represent her country in dressage when she competed at the 1984 Summer Olympics, Los Angeles 1984 Olympics in the Equestrian at the 1984 Summer Olympics – Individual dressage, individual event. Henry Douglas McIver (1841–1907) was an American mercenary who fought for 18 countries during the nineteenth-century. Early life McIver was born in 1841. He spent first ten years of his life in Virginia, United States, and then he was sent to his uncle, General Donald Graham, to finish school and prepare for West Point. Lieutenant General Donald Stuart McIver, (22 January 1936 – 22 August 2016) was a New Zealand military officer who was the Chief of the General Staff (1987–1989) and the director of the New Zealand Security Intelligence Service (1991–1999). Kenneth Finlay McIver (26 October 1928 – 23 September 1988) was an Australian politician who served in the Parliament of Western Australia between 1968 and 1988. He represented Northam and Avon for the Labor Party. Prior to entering politics, McIver spent over 20 years as a train driver with the Western Australian Government Railways (WAGR).
