Mazzini Canta Battisti
''Mazzini canta Battisti'' is a compilation album by Mina, released in 1994 by PDU. Overview The album name is derived from the surnames of Mina and the songwriter and singer Lucio Battisti, hence ''Mazzini canta Battisti''. This is also the first time in Mina's recording history that her surname appears on an album of hers. This is the second tribute album that Mina has recorded, the first being the 1975 album ''Minacantalucio''. In contrast to the album ''Minacantalucio'' which was composed of 10 new recordings of Lucio Battisti, this album contains only two new recordings, "Perché no" and "Il leone e la gallina". The rest are songs Mina has recorded before. "Insieme" was originally on the 1970 album '' ...quando tu mi spiavi in cima a un batticuore...''. " Io e te da soli" was originally on the 1971 live album ''Del mio meglio''. " Amor mio" and "E penso a te" were originally on the 1971 album '' Mina''. "La mente torna" was originally on the 1973 album '' Del mio meglio ... [...More Info...]       [...Related Items...]     OR:     [Wikipedia]   [Google]   [Baidu]   |

Emozioni (song)
"Emozioni " () is a 1970 song composed by Lucio Battisti (music) and Mogol (lyrics), arranged by Gian Piero Reverberi and performed by Lucio Battisti. Composition The song's composition was inspired by a long and much-publicized Battisti's and Mogol's horseback riding trip from Milan to Rome. According to Battisti, it 'expressed the sense of discovery, of wonder, of freedom that Mogol and I found venturing through meadows, hills, and rivers, as if we were seeing nature for the first time.' Release Originally it was the B-side of "Anna", with Battisti eventually deciding to swap the two songs. Del Mio Meglio N
Del, or nabla, is an operator used in mathematics (particularly in vector calculus) as a vector differential operator, usually represented by the nabla symbol ∇. When applied to a function defined on a one-dimensional domain, it denotes the standard derivative of the function as defined in calculus. When applied to a ''field'' (a function defined on a multi-dimensional domain), it may denote any one of three operators depending on the way it is applied: the gradient or (locally) steepest slope of a scalar field (or sometimes of a vector field, as in the Navier–Stokes equations); the divergence of a vector field; or the curl (rotation) of a vector field. Strictly speaking, del is not a specific operator, but rather a convenient mathematical notation for those three operators that makes many equations easier to write and remember. The del symbol (or nabla) can be interpreted as a vector of partial derivative operators; and its three possible meanings—gradient, divergenc ... E Penso A Te
"E penso a te" (English: And I think of you) is a song composed in 1970 by Lucio Battisti based on the lyrics by Mogol (lyricist), Mogol. Initially sung by Bruno Lauzi, it was subsequently re-recorded by numerous other artists. The most popular version remains the one which its author gave in 1972. The song Meaning The lyrics recount the nostalgic thoughts of a man who is in love with a somewhat distant woman. The song does not say who she is: she may be a former lover or wife, with whom the protagonist broke up, or maybe just a casually encountered woman he immediately fell in love with. The protagonist, in any case, can't help but think of her constantly: the first and third stanza describe the actions of his daily life, each one followed by "... e penso a te" ("... and I think of you"), a line which highlights his obsession and his inability to fully enjoy what he is doing. During the day, the protagonist is at work, then comes home, and has a date with his current girlfrien ...
