Mazor
Mazor ( he, מָזוֹר, ''lit.'' Cure) is a moshav in central Israel. Located in the Sharon plain around three kilometres south-east of Petah Tikva and covering 2,300 dunams, it falls under the jurisdiction of Hevel Modi'in Regional Council. In it had a population of . History The moshav was established in 1949 by Jewish immigrants from Czechoslovakia and Hungary and by native-born Israelis. It was initially named Mizra Har ( he, מזרע הר, lit. ''Sown Field on a Mountain''), a name derived from the name of the nearby depopulated Arab village of Umm-Zara, more commonly known as al-Muzayri'a. The moshav was later renamed ''Mazor'', Hebrew for ''Remedy'', in honor of the medicinal herb factory established there by the herbalist Mordechai Klein. Gaby Mazor
Gabriel (Gaby) Mazor ( he, גבריאל מזור; born February 16, 1944) is an Israeli archaeologist working for the Israel Antiquities Authority. Mazor is the director and senior researcher of the Bet She'an Archaeological Project. He is the co-author of "NYSA-Scythopolis: The Caesareum and the Odeum" and has taught in Macalester College and the University of Rochester as a visiting professor. Mazor is also a project consultant on the Horbat ‘Omrit (in the northern Galilee) project. Mazor obtained his Ph.D in Classical Archaeology from Bar-Ilan University in 2004. He is a father of two and resides in Jerusalem. Mazor Mahoy Bahaina ( he, מזור בהיינה, born 12 September 1973) is an Israeli kes, Orthodox rabbi, and former politician, who served as a member of the Knesset for Shas between 2008 and 2009. Biography Born in Wolqayt in Ethiopia, Bahaina's aliyah to Israel started with a trek on foot with his family across the Sudanese border, after which they waited for about a year and a half for immigration approval. On arriving in Israel, his family moved to Or Akiva, and later to Kiryat Gat. Bahaina studied in a few yeshivas, and became an ordained rabbi. After moving to Beersheba, he has worked in several socially-oriented positions to support immigrants from Ethiopia, eventually becoming the head rabbi of the Ethiopian Jewish community in Beersheba, numbering about 10,000, and a member of the local city council. Moran Mazor ( he, מורן מזור; born 17 May 1991) is an Israeli singer. Mazor rose to fame as the winner of the first series of the Israeli reality show "Eyal Golan is Calling You" in 2011. In 2013, Mazor won the Israeli national selection '' Kdam Eurovision 2013''. She represented her country in the second semi-final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2013 in Malmö, Sweden, with the song " Rak bishvilo" (Only for him). Stanley Mazor is an American microelectronics engineer who was born on 22 October 1941 in Chicago, Illinois. He is one of the co-inventors of the world's first microprocessor architecture, the Intel 4004, together with Ted Hoff, Masatoshi Shima, and Federico Faggin.
