Mazhavil Kavadi
''Mazhavilkavadi'' () is a 1989 Indian Malayalam-language comedy drama film directed by Sathyan Anthikad and written by Raghunath Paleri. It stars Jayaram, Sithara, Krishnankutty Nair, Urvashi, Innocent in the lead roles. This is one of the very few films where Innocent plays a negative role. It won four Kerala State Film Awards that year, the awards for Best Actress (Urvashi), Best Supporting Actor (Innocent), Best Music Director (Johnson), and Best Singer (K. S. Chithra). The film was remade in Tamil as ''Subramaniya Swamy'' with Pandiarajan. Sathyan Anthikad
Sathyan Anthikad is an Indian film director, screenwriter, and lyricist who predominantly works in Malayalam cinema. In a career spanning five decades he has directed more than 50 films, been the lyricist for 12 films and been the scriptwriter for 6 films. He is the recipient of several accolades including a National Film Award, five Kerala State Film Awards and three Filmfare Awards. He received the Kerala Sahitya Akademi Award for Humour in 2019 for his book, ''Eeswaran Mathram Sakshi.'' Bobby Kottarakkara
Bobby Kottarakkara (11 March 1952 – 3 December 2000) was an Indian actor who acted in Malayalam films. He was born to Pareedkunju Ravuthar in Kottarakkara. He began his acting career on stage. He made his film debut with Mucheettukalikkaarante Makal. Bobby soon became a well-known actor. He performed in around 300 roles in a variety of films, some of which are such as Mazhavilkavadi, ''Kannezhuthi Pottum Thottu'', ''Golanthara Vartha'', ''Kaazhchakkappuram'' and ''Chithram''. He also acted in several TV serials. It was during the filming of ''Vakkalathu Narayanankutty'' that Bobby died of a massive heart attack in December 2000. Karamana Janardhanan Nair
Karamana Janardanan Nair (25 July 1936 – 24 April 2000) was a Malayalam film actor, who was active during the 1980s and 1990s. He was especially known for his character roles. He won wide acclaim especially for the role of the protagonist in Adoor Gopalakrishnan's Elippathayam (1981). He notably played the villain role along with Thilakan in '' Pattanapravesham''(1988). Palani
Palani ( or ''Palni'' as in British records, is a town and a taluk headquarters in Dindigul district of the western part of Tamil Nadu state in India. It is located about south-east of Coimbatore and north-west of Madurai, from Kodaikanal. The Palani Murugan Temple or Arulmigu Dhandayuthapani Swamy Temple (Thiru Avinankudi), dedicated to Lord Murugan is situated on a hill overlooking the town.
