Forwards (also known as attackers) are outfield positions in an association football team who play the furthest up the pitch and are therefore most responsible for scoring goals as well as assisting them. As with any attacking player, the role of the forward relies heavily on being able to create space for attack. Amicale Sportive Dragons is a Congolese football club based in Kinshasa. As of the 2007–08 season they play in the Linafoot league, the top level of professional football in DR Congo. Their home games are played at Stade 24 Novembre. In the past, the club was also called ''Amicale Sportive Bilima''. History The club was founded 1938 under the name AS Bilima. After the independence of the country from Belgium in June 1960 the team developed to a leading Club which was proved by the first championship 1965.
