Bola De Ouro
The ''Bola de Ouro'' (Golden Ball) is an annual award given each year, since 1973, by Brazilian sports magazine ''Placar'' to the best player in the Campeonato Brasileiro. A group of sports journalists watch every match of the competition and rate players 1 to 10 based on their performance. At the end of the season, the players with the best average rating in each position are awarded the ''Bola de Prata'' (Silver Ball), and the player with the best overall average rating is the recipient of the Bola de Ouro. The awards were first given in 1973, but since the 1970 Campeonato Brasileiro Série A the magazine had started to evaluate players. The 1971 winner, Dirceu Lopes, received the award in the 2013 edition. Since the 1975 edition Placar also started to award a Bola de Prata to the top goalscorer of the competition. The 2022 CONMEBOL Recopa Sudamericana ( pt, CONMEBOL Recopa Sul-Americana de 2022) was the 30th edition of the CONMEBOL Recopa Sudamericana (also referred to as the ''Recopa Sudamericana''), the football competition organized by CONMEBOL between the winners of the previous season's two major South American club tournaments, the Copa Libertadores and the Copa Sudamericana. The competition was contested in two-legged home-and-away format between Brazilian teams Palmeiras, the 2021 Copa Libertadores champions, and Athletico Paranaense, the 2021 Copa Sudamericana champions. The 2018 Campeonato Brasileiro Série A (officially the Brasileirão Assaà 2018 for sponsorship reasons) was the 62nd season of the Campeonato Brasileiro Série A, the top level of professional football in Brazil, and the 15th edition in a double round-robin since its establishment in 2003. The season began on 14 April 2018 and ended on 2 December 2018. The top six teams as well as the 2018 Copa do Brasil champions qualified to the Copa Libertadores. 2023 Supercopa Do Brasil
The 2023 Supercopa do Brasil (officially the Supercopa Betano do Brasil 2023 for sponsorship reasons) was the sixth edition of Supercopa do Brasil, an annual football match played between the champions of the Campeonato Brasileiro Série A and Copa do Brasil. The match was played on 28 January 2023 between Palmeiras and Flamengo, who qualified after winning the 2022 Campeonato Brasileiro Série A and the 2022 Copa do Brasil, respectively. On 11 January 2023, the CBF announced that the match would be hosted at Arena BRB Mané Garrincha in BrasÃlia. Palmeiras won the match 4–3 to claim their first ever title in the tournament. The CONMEBOL Libertadores, also known as the Copa Libertadores de América ( pt, Copa Libertadores da América), is an annual international club football competition organized by CONMEBOL since 1960. It is the highest level of competition in South American club football.
