Mayilattam (film)
''Mayilattam'' is a 2004 Malayalam-language action comedy film directed by V. M. Vinu. It stars Jayaram in a dual roles along with Rambha, Indraja, and Jagathy Sreekumar in the pivotal roles. The film was a commercial success at the box office. It was an Onam release of 2004. Plot The life of a normal villager Devan (Jayaram) changes when he becomes the single witness of a murder committed by a local goon (Riyaz Khan). Upon this, he's forced to flee from the village as he accidentally harms the goon as a part of self defense when the goon came at night to finish him. He, along with his brother-in-law (Jagathy Sreekumar), escapes to Singanallur in Tamil Nadu and there he meets his look alike Pazhani. As per his brother-in-law's instruction, he stays back at Singanallur and sends Pazhani with his brother-in-law. Jayaram Subramaniam, (born 10 December 1965) known mononymously as Jayaram, is an Indian actor who predominantly appears in Malayalam,Tamil films, along with a few Telugu films. He is also a chenda percussionist, mimicry artist, and occasional playback singer. Jayaram has acted in more than 200 films and has received several awards, including the Padma Shri, two Kerala State Film Awards, one Tamil Nadu State Film Awards, and four Filmfare Awards South. Vijayaraghavan (actor)
Vijayaraghavan (born 20 December 1951) is an Indian actor who predominantly works in Malayalam cinema. He is popular for his character roles. He is the son of popular drama and cinema artist N. N. Pillai. He got his break by playing the iconic character ''Ramji Rao'' in 1989 film Ramji Rao Speaking. This character later got the cult status in Malayalam Cinema. Early life and family Vijayaraghavan is the son of veteran actor N. N. Pillai and Chinnamma. Girish Puthenchery (1961–2010) was a noted Malayalam Lyricist, Poet, Scriptwriter and Screenwriter. He was always referred to as the aristocratic lyricist of Malayalam who had a distinctive writing style of his own.
