Mayabini (1992 Film)
''Mayabini'' is a 1992 Indian Bengali-language romantic thriller film directed by Tushar Majumdar and produced under the banner of Mangaldeep Pictures Private Limited. The music director of the film was Tanmoy Chattapadhaya and playback singers included Asha Bhosle, Amit Kumar, Mohammed Aziz, Anuradha Paudwal and Kavita Krishnamurthy. Plot Woodcutters were working in the dense jungle of Pratapgarh estate but suddenly one animal-like creature started killing them. Fearful labours went to Rajabahadur for their safety. Bankim Ghosh (22 October 1922 — 3 June 1992) was a veteran actor of Bengali film and theatre personality. Early life Ghosh was born in 1922 in Kolkata, British India. He passed Matriculate examination from Oriental Seminary and B.Com. from City College in 1938. He was a good athlete in student life. Chinmoy Roy (1940–2019) was an Indian Bengali male actor. He was famous for his comic roles in Bengali movies, though his versatility has allowed him to play a variety of roles. Though he was known for portraying various character roles, Roy was equally at ease in portraying the famous fictional character Tenida on screen. He held his own among prominent performers like Soumitra Chatterjee, Robi Ghose and Tarun Kumar in the comedies ''Basanto Bilap'', ''Dhonni Meye'', and ''Nanigopaler Biye''.
