Maximum Security (comics)
"Maximum Security" is a comic book story line and crossover event that ran through a three-issue self-titled limited series and individual issues of the other titles published by Marvel Comics with a cover date of either December 2000 or January 2001. In it, a multitude of alien civilizations that had previously interacted with Earth join forces to prevent humans from interfering further with galactic affairs. To accomplish this, they designate Earth as a penal colony. The miniseries and its crossover in the pages of ''Avengers'' were written by Kurt Busiek. Marvel collected much the story arc in trade paperback on November 24, 2010. Publication history In December 2000, Marvel Comics published ''Maximum Security: Dangerous Planet'', which recapped relevant events and set up the crossover's main plot. ''Maximum Security'' is the third studio album by English gothic rock band Alien Sex Fiend, released in October 1985 by Anagram Records. Release ''Maximum Security'' peaked at No. 100 in the UK Albums Chart, and is to date their only charting album. The record was reissued in 1986 in CD format, retitled as ''The First Alien Sex Fiend Compact Disc'' and featuring four additional tracks including the single "E.S.T. (Trip to the Moon)". The entire album appeared on the B-side of the 1986 cassette '' "It" the Cassette''. It is the 66th overall episode of the series and is written by Laura McCreary and directed by Victor Nelli Jr. It aired on Fox in the United States on April 5, 2016. The show revolves around the fictitious 99th precinct of the New York Police Department in Brooklyn and the officers and detectives that work in the precinct. In the episode, the squad begins their operation in finding Figgis' informant. ''Maximum Security'' is the third novel in the CHERUB series of books, written by Robert Muchamore. In this novel CHERUB agents James Adams and Dave Moss infiltrate a maximum security prison in Arizona to get to the son of an international arms dealer. Plot The FBI discover that Curtis Key, a 14-year-old boy imprisoned in an Arizona maximum security prison for murder, is the son of Jane Oxford, an international arms dealer who has evaded capture for decades. After Oxford steals missiles intended for the British government, British intelligence becomes involved in the hunt for Oxford. It is proposed that CHERUB send agents undercover in the prison to help Curtis escape, in the hope that he will lead the FBI to his mother. Maximum Security (foaled May 14, 2016) is a champion American Thoroughbred racehorse who was the 2019 Champion Three-Year-Old after winning the Florida Derby, Haskell Invitational, Bold Ruler Handicap, and Cigar Mile. Maximum Security crossed the finish line first in the 2019 Kentucky Derby, but was disqualified for interference. As a four-year-old in 2020, he won the inaugural running of the Saudi Cup in January. On March 9, his trainer Jason Servis was indicted on multiple federal charges related to the administration of performance-enhancing drugs to his stable. Maximum Security was allegedly administered a designer drug that was considered undetectable. He was transferred to the barn of Bob Baffert and returned to racing on July 25, when he won the San Diego Handicap, followed by a win in the Pacific Classic.
