Maximilian Pfisterer
Maximilian Pfisterer (born 8 July 1997) is a German ice dancer who currently competes with Lara Luft. With his former skating partner, Charise Matthaei, he is a two-time German national junior champion and competed in the final segment at two World Junior Championships (2018, 2019). They placed 11th at the 2016 Winter Youth Olympics in Hamar, Norway. Matthaei/Pfisterer teamed up in August 2015. They were coached by René Sachtler-Lohse. Earlier in his career, Pfisterer skated with Franziska Pfisterer (his sister), Aliena Schober, Nadine Seidl, and Melina Kuffner. Pfisterer skated with Amanda Peterson during the 2019–20 season. Charise Matthaei
Charise Matthaei (born 19 October 2000) is a German ice dancer. With her former skating partner, Maximilian Pfisterer, she is a two-time German national junior champion and competed in the final segment at two World Junior Championships (2018, 2019). They placed 11th at the 2016 Winter Youth Olympics in Hamar, Norway. Since May 2022 she competes with her skating partner, Max Liebers, at the senior level in ice dance. With Liebers, she is a two-time German national champion (2023-24). Matthaei/Pfisterer teamed up in August 2015 and split in 2019. Rhythm Dance
The rhythm dance (RD) is the first segment of an ice dance competition. The International Skating Union (ISU) renamed the short dance to the "rhythm dance" in June 2018, prior to the 2018–2019 season. It became part of international competitions in July 2018. French ice dancers Gabriella Papadakis and Guillaume Cizeron hold the highest RD score of 90.83 points, which they achieved at the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics. Mathew Gates (born June 29, 1975) is a British-American former competitive ice dancer. With Eve Chalom, he is the 1996 Nebelhorn Trophy silver medalist and a two-time (1997, 1999) U.S. Figure Skating Championships, U.S. national silver medalist. Cole Porter
Cole Albert Porter (June 9, 1891 – October 15, 1964) was an American composer and songwriter. Many of his songs became standards noted for their witty, urbane lyrics, and many of his scores found success on Broadway and in film. Born to a wealthy family in Indiana, Porter defied his grandfather's wishes for him to practice law and took up music as a profession. Classically trained, he was drawn to musical theatre.
