Maxim Suraykin
Maxim Alexandrovich Suraykin (russian: link=no, Максим Александрович Сурайкин; born 8 August 1978) is a Russian politician who has been the leader of the political party Communists of Russia (2012–2022) and member of the Legislative Assembly of Ulyanovsk Oblast (2018–2022). Suraykin was Communists of Russia's candidate for the 2018 presidential election. Life and career Suraykin was born on 8 August 1978 in Moscow. In 1993, Suraykin was one of the defenders of the Supreme Soviet. In 2000, he graduated from Moscow State University of Railway Engineering. After graduating, he founded and for ten years ran a computer equipment repair company. Suraykin worked as a lecturer at the Department of Management of Moscow State University of Railways. The Central Election Commission of the Russian Federation (russian: Центральная избирательная комиссия Российской Федерации, abbr. ЦИК, also Центризбирком) is the superior power body responsible for conducting federal elections and overseeing local elections in the Russian Federation founded in September 1993. It consists of 15 members. The President of Russia, State Duma and Federation Council of Russia each appoint five members. In turn, these members elect the Chairman, Deputy Chairman and Secretary. Sergey Ivanovich Morozov
Sergey Ivanovich Morozov (russian: Сергей Иванович Морозов; born 6 September 1959, Ulyanovsk) is a Russian politician who is currently a member of parliament of the State Duma. He had served as the 3rd governor of Ulyanovsk Oblast in Russia from 6 January 2005 until 8 April 2021. He was elected in 2004; his term started in 2005. After completing military service in the Soviet Pacific Fleet in 1980 he graduated from the All Union Juristic Institute in 1981. Between 1981 and 2000 he worked for the Ministry of the Interior in the Ulyanovsk Oblast later becoming head of the local Drug Enforcement Department. He authored the 500 Days Program, a plan for the transition of the Soviet regime to a free-market economy, and is the former leader of the social-liberal Yabloko party. Vote splitting is an electoral effect in which the distribution of votes among multiple similar candidates reduces the chance of winning for any of the similar candidates, and increases the chance of winning for a dissimilar candidate. Vote splitting most easily occurs in plurality voting (also called first-past-the-post) in which each voter indicates a single choice and the candidate with the most votes wins, even if the winner does not have majority support. Sergei Stanislavovich Udaltsov (russian: Серге́й Станиславович Удальцов; born 16 February 1977) is a Russian left-wing political activist. He is the unofficial leader of the Vanguard of Red Youth (AKM). In 2011 and 2012, he helped lead a series of protests against Vladimir Putin.
