Max Wright (English Footballer)
Max Wright (born 6 April 1998) is an English professional footballer who plays as a winger for National League side FC Halifax Town. He came through the youth ranks at Grimsby Town before earning a professional contract in 2015. He has also spent time on loan with Sutton Coldfield Town, Scarborough Athletic and Boston United. He joined Harrogate Town in 2022 but injury limited him to only 3 appearances. Career Grimsby Town Wright joined Northern Premier League Premier Division club Sutton Coldfield Town on an initial one-month loan on 12 January 2017. In February 2017, Wright extended his loan at Sutton Coldfield Town until the end of the season. He signed a new one-year contract in August 2017 with Grimsby Town. Wright joined Scarborough Athletic on 24 August 2017 on loan. He signed a new two-year contract with Grimsby on 5 June 2018. Grimsby or Great Grimsby is a port town and the administrative centre of North East Lincolnshire, Lincolnshire, England. Grimsby adjoins the town of Cleethorpes directly to the south-east forming a conurbation. FA Trophy
The Football Association Challenge Trophy, commonly known as the FA Trophy, is a men's football knockout cup competition run by and named after the English Football Association and competed for primarily by semi-professional teams. The competition was instigated in 1969 to cater to those non-league clubs that paid their players and were therefore not eligible to enter the FA Amateur Cup. Eligibility rules have changed over time, but from 2008 onwards the competition has been open to clubs playing in Steps 1–4 of the National League System, equivalent to tiers 5–8 of the overall English football league system. The 2022–23 FA Trophy (known for sponsorship reasons as the Isuzu FA Trophy) is the 54th season of the FA Trophy, an annual football competition for teams at levels 5–8 of the English football league system. Eligibility Applications to enter the 54th edition of the FA Trophy opened on 25 February 2022 and closed 1 April 2022.
