Max Quinzani
Max Quinzani (born March 20, 1988) is an MLL professional lacrosse player, formerly of the NCAA Division I college lacrosse team in Duke University. Quinzani played attack at 5'8 and 170 pounds in his collegiate career. Career Quinzani attended Duke University and played in the Attack position for Lacrosse across all 5 years of his collegiate career. He has the nation’s longest scoring streak at 46 games, ranks sixth on the Duke career list for goals, and received the ACC Academic Honor Roll choice and a two-time Academic All-America selection. On May 31, 2010, Max and the Duke Lacrosse team won their first ever Division I NCAA Men's Lacrosse Championship. During his collegiate career, Quinzani scored 199 goals, which is second all time in Division I Lacrosse. In 2010, Quinzani was chosen third overall by the Boston Cannons in the 2010 MLL Draft. Philadelphia Wings (1987–2014)
The Philadelphia Wings were a member of the National Lacrosse League, a professional box lacrosse league in North America starting in 1987. They played at the Spectrum (1987–96) and then at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The Wings were one of the four original teams in the Eagle Pro Box Lacrosse League that began play in 1987 and the only team to reclaim its identity from the original 1974–75 National Lacrosse League and also retained the first Philadelphia Wings logo. The Eagle Pro Box Lacrosse League was renamed the Major Indoor Lacrosse League in 1989, and again to the National Lacrosse League in 1998. The Duke Blue Devils men's lacrosse team represents Duke University in National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I men's lacrosse. A hat-trick or hat trick is the achievement of a generally positive feat three times in a match, or another achievement based on the number three. Origin The term first appeared in 1858 in cricket, to describe H. H. Stephenson taking three wickets with three consecutive deliveries. Fans held a collection for Stephenson, and presented him with a hat bought with the proceeds. The term was used in print for the first time in 1865 in the ''Chelmsford Chronicle''. Boston Cannons
The Cannons Lacrosse Club are a professional men's field lacrosse team in the Premier Lacrosse League (PLL) . Formerly based in Boston, Massachusetts, they played in Major League Lacrosse (MLL) as the Boston Cannons from their inaugural 2001 season to 2020. The team's home field was Veterans Memorial Stadium in nearby Quincy. In the MLL, the team won two Steinfeld Cup championship games in 2011 and 2020, the latter being the MLL's final championship. The Cannons joined the PLL in 2020 following the MLL–PLL merger and were rebranded as the Cannons Lacrosse Club.
