Max Modell
Max Modell is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics, primarily in association with Spider-Man. Publication history Max Modell first appeared in ''The Amazing Spider-Man'' #648 (January 2011), and was created by Dan Slott and Humberto Ramos. Fictional character biography Max Modell is the CEO of Horizon Labs, who gets Spider-Man, Peter Parker a job there after he shuts down Sanjani Jaffrey's out-of-control machine. When the Phil Urich, Hobgoblin attacks Horizon, Spider-Man saves Modell from him. In later appearances, Modell assists Spider-Man, Mister Fantastic, and Wraith (Yuri Watanabe), Yuri Watanabe, among others, in fighting crime. "Ends of the Earth (Marvel Comics), Ends of the Earth" reveals that Modell is gay and in a relationship with Horizon Labs lawyer Hector Baez. In "All-New, All-Different Marvel", Spider-Man employs the two at Parker Industries. In "Go Down Swinging", Modell accepts a job application at Horizon University ...
