Max Menzel
Max Richard Menzel (born 30 March 1941) is a former Australian politician. He was born in Tully in Queensland to Richard Franz Menzel and Dulcie Margaret, ''née'' Kelly on the 30th of March 1941. He had an Uncle Albert "Bill" Menzel whose whereabouts are unknown, his father had other siblings who are believed to now be deceased and lived in Germany where Max's father and Uncle immigrated from to Australia around the 1900s to 1920s. Albert Menzel called himself "Bill" around the period of World War 2 due to anti German prejudice, due to Germany being at War with Australia at the time. Max was a Cane Grower before entering politics and was the Chairman of directors of Babinda Sugar Mill for 10 years. Electoral District Of Mulgrave (Queensland)
Mulgrave is an electoral district of the Legislative Assembly in the Australian state of Queensland. The district in its present form is a narrow coastal strip running from the southern suburbs of Cairns at its northern end to Innisfail at its southern end. Mulgrave also includes the towns of Gordonvale and Babinda. The electorate was first created for the 1950 election. There was an earlier district also called Mulgrave that existed from 1873 to 1888. Katter's Australian Party (KAP) is an agrarian political party in Australia. It was founded by Bob Katter, an independent and former Nationals MP for the seat of Kennedy, with a registration application lodged to the Australian Electoral Commission in 2011. Katter has been re-elected under the party's label at the 2013, 2016, 2019, and 2022 federal elections. The party also won two seats at the 2012 Queensland state election which it retained at the 2015 state election. Robert Bellarmine Carl Katter (born 22 May 1945) is an Australian politician who has been a member of the House of Representatives since 1993. He was previously active in Queensland state politics from 1974 to 1992. Katter was a member of the National Party until 2001, when he left to sit as an independent. He formed his own party, Katter's Australian Party, in 2011. Katter was born in Cloncurry, Queensland. His father, Bob Katter Sr., was also a politician. Katter was elected to the Queensland Legislative Assembly at the 1974 state election, representing the seat of Flinders. He was elevated to cabinet in 1983, under Joh Bjelke-Petersen, and was a government minister until the National Party's defeat at the 1989 state election. Roy Alexander Armstrong (14 January 1914 – 26 April 1991 ) was a member of the Queensland Legislative Assembly. Biography Armstrong was born in Warwick, Queensland, the son of Samuel John Armstrong and his wife Ann Isabel (née Hall) and was educated at Warwick State School. The Legislative Assembly of Queensland is the sole chamber of the unicameral Parliament of Queensland established under the Constitution of Queensland.
