Max King (theologian)
Max R. King (born 1930) is the founder of the school of thought known as "transmillennialism". King was a minister in the Churches of Christ for 40 years before developing Transmillennialism. King pioneered a field of theology that he termed "covenant eschatology." Within fundamentalist and conservative Evangelical contexts, he contended that Biblical eschatology was not related to the end of the space-time universe, but to the transition of the Old Covenant to the New Covenant. King offered a unique interpretation concerning the millennium as found in Revelation 20 as pertaining to the forty-year period from 30-70 AD. He called this time "the transition period" from Old Covenant to New Covenant. In King's view, this transition opened the way for the full presence of God to dwell with all of humanity. Max King (born February 24, 1980) is an American ultra-marathoner. He was the winner at the 2014 IAU 100 km World Championships and the 2011 World Mountain Running Championships. King earned the bronze medal at the 2016 NACAC Cross Country Championships / Pan American Cross Country Cup. He has also won numerous national titles at various distances ranging from half marathon to ultra marathons. In addition, he has won multiple national runner of the year awards. King graduated from Cornell University in 2002, where he was a member of the Quill and Dagger Quill and Dagger is a senior honor society at Cornell University. Max King (born 4 May 1997) is a professional rugby league footballer who plays as a and for the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs in the NRL. He previously played for the Gold Coast Titans and the Melbourne Storm in the National Rugby League. Background King was born in Huddersfield, England. Max King (born 7 July 2000) is a professional Australian rules footballer playing for the St Kilda Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). Early life King and his twin brother Ben King grew up in Hampton in Melbourne's Bayside area, with father Brook and mum Marni. The King twins would regularly play football, cricket, basketball and downball at the family home. The Klitschko brothers, who supported each other to become elite boxers, were a source of inspiration for Ben and Max, as were the Morris brothers in the NBA. King grew up supporting St Kilda, with Nick Riewoldt among his favourite players. King studied at and played for Haileybury College in high school, coached by AFL great Matthew Lloyd.
