Max Galler
Max Galler (27 February 1902, in Basel – 6 January 1970, in Basel) was a Swiss footballer who played for FC Basel and the Swiss national team. He played as defender or midfielder. He later became trainer as was trainer of the Basel team for the season 1939/40. Football career Galler played his youth football for FC Basel and advanced to their first team in 1921. He played his domestic league debut on 25 May 1922 in the home game at the Landhof against FC Bern. He scored his first goal for his club in the first game of the 1925–26 Serie A season on 6 September 1925 against Solothurn. A well-documented curiosity was that at the end of Basel's 1929–30 season, the team set off on a Scandinavian football tour, including a visit to Germany. Ski- og Ballklubben Drafn is a Norwegian multi-sports club from Drammen, founded in 1910. The club, which takes its name from the Norse name of Drammen, was founded as a merger of the clubs Ulf (founded 1905) and Njord (founded 1906). In 1916 it incorporated the skiing club Drammen SK (founded 1881). The men's bandy team won the Norwegian national championship 19 times. Walter Dietrich
Walter Dietrich (24 December 1902 – 27 November 1979) was a Swiss footballer who started his active career by FC Basel. Via Forward Morges he moved to Servette and finally in the summer of 1925 to Eintracht Frankfurt and here he ended his active football ten years later. He played as forward. Career Dietrich joined Basel's first team in their 1919–20 season, but played only six test matches. He played his domestic league debut for the club in the first game of the next season, the away game on 26 September 1920 as Basel were defeated 1–4 by Young Boys. He scored his first goal for his club a week later on 3 October in the home game at the Landhof against Aarau as the two teams played a 2–2 draw. Between the years 1919 and 1922 Dietrich played a total of 34 games for Basel scoring a total of five goals. Eight of these games were in the Swiss Serie A and 26 were friendly games. Old Stadion (Amsterdam)
The Oude Stadion (Old Stadium), officially known as Het Nederlandsch Sportpark (The Dutch Sports Park), and colloquially known as the Stadion (until 1928), was a multi-purpose sports stadium located in Amsterdam in the Netherlands. The stadium was built after the design by Harry Elte, with which he had won the contest for a national stadium in 1912. The stadium was completed in 1914. For some time it was the only stadium with brick stands in the country. Prior to the construction of the Olympic Stadium used for the 1928 Summer Olympics, it was the primary stadium used for the city until the 1928 Games. This was to the fact that the stadium could not handle track running and track cycling events though it could accommodate football games, seating 29,000.
