Max Adler (lacrosse)
Max Adler is an American lacrosse player. He played for DII Bentley University, before being drafted by the Denver Outlaws of the Major League Lacrosse. He now plays for the Chaos Lacrosse Club of the Premier Lacrosse League where he is a faceoff specialist. Indoors, he plays for the Buffalo Bandits of the National Lacrosse League as a defenseman. In international play, he has represented Israel in the FIL World Lacrosse Championship. Playing career NCAA A native of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Adler attended Northfield Mount Hermon School and initially intended to pursue a collegiate wrestling career, but injuries forced him to stop. He played lacrosse for the first time during his freshman season. Adler walked onto the lacrosse team at Bentley during his freshman season and was initially their fifth faceoff specialist, though over his four years, he worked his way into a starting role and finished his collegiate career as a two-time Division II All-American. Northfield Mount Hermon School
Northfield Mount Hermon School, often called NMH, is a co-educational preparatory school in Gill, Massachusetts, in the United States. It is a member of the Eight Schools Association. Present day NMH offers nearly 200 courses, including AP and honors classes in every discipline. Every semester, students take three major courses, each 70 minutes long, as opposed to five 50-minute classes which are more typical of high schools. Lacrosse Defenders
Lacrosse is a team sport played with a lacrosse stick and a lacrosse ball. It is the oldest organized sport in North America, with its origins with the indigenous people of North America as early as the 12th century. The game was extensively modified by European colonists, reducing the violence, to create its current collegiate and professional form. Players use the head of the lacrosse stick to carry, pass, catch, and shoot the ball into the goal. The sport has four versions that have different sticks, fields, rules and equipment: field lacrosse, women's lacrosse, box lacrosse and intercrosse. The men's games, field lacrosse (outdoor) and box lacrosse (indoor), are contact sports and all players wear protective gear: helmet, gloves, shoulder pads, and elbow pads.
