Max Abmas
Maxwell Abmas ( ; born April 2, 2001) is an American college basketball player for the Texas Longhorns of the Big 12 Conference. He previously played for four seasons at Oral Roberts. High school career Abmas attended Jesuit College Preparatory School of Dallas. He joined the varsity team in his sophomore season. As a senior, he averaged 19.1 points and 3.7 assists per game. He was named District 9-6A co-MVP. Abmas competed for 3-D Sports on the Amateur Athletic Union circuit. He was lightly recruited and committed to playing college basketball for Oral Roberts over offers from Army, Navy, Air Force and Marist. College career As a freshman at Oral Roberts, he was a regular starter and averaged 14.4 points, earning Summit League All-Newcomer Team honors. The Oral Roberts Golden Eagles men's basketball team is the basketball team representing Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The team is a member of Summit League. Oral Roberts has made appearances in six NCAA Tournaments, the most recent appearance in 2021. Summit League Men's Basketball Tournament
The Summit League men's basketball tournament is the post-season tournament for NCAA Division I conference Summit League. The winner of the tournament receives the Summit League's automatic bid into the NCAA Men's Division I Basketball Championship. The tournament was first played in 1984, when the league was known as the Association of Mid-Continent Universities (AMCU). The league was also known as the Mid-Continent Conference from 1989 to 2007, after which it was renamed to The Summit League.
