Mausoleum Records
Mausoleum Records was a Belgian-based heavy metal label, once considered by ''Billboard'' as "one of Europe's premier hard rock labels". Alfie Falckenbach founded the Mausoleum Records label in 1982 (he also founded the Music Avenue label, and the blues label Blues Boulevard Records). Bands releasing material on the label included Anvil, Faithful Breath, Great White, Killer, L.A. Guns, Nazareth, Omen, Ostrogoth, Ian Gillan Band and Warlock. Celebrating its 30th Anniversary this year, Mausoleum Records was still going strong, and the artist roster consisted of established acts such as Molly Hatchet and Cinderella, in addition to new artists from around the world, including Hyades (Italy), Always Fallen (Belgium), Hills of Kings (Germany), Awaken (USA) and Grenouer Grenouer is a Russian rock and metal band, formed in late 1992 in Perm. A mausoleum is an external free-standing building constructed as a monument enclosing the interment space or burial chamber of a deceased person or people. A mausoleum without the person's remains is called a cenotaph. A mausoleum may be considered a type of tomb, or the tomb may be considered to be within the mausoleum. Hyades (band)
Hyades is a thrash metal band from Busto Arsizio, Italy, formed in 1996. History Hyades was formed in 1996 by Lorenzo Testa. After 8 years of playing in the metal underground and releasing self-produced demos, the band signed with Belgian label Mausoleum Records and released their debut album, "Abuse Your Illusions", gaining worldwide attention. A few years before the thrash metal revival really took shape, Hyades produced a blend of European and US old-school thrash metal with fast drumming, mosh guitar riffing, old-school vocals and socially critical lyrics, combined with a sense of humor. Hawkwind
Hawkwind are an English rock band known as one of the earliest space rock groups. Since their formation in November 1969, Hawkwind have gone through many incarnations and have incorporated many different styles into their music, including hard rock, progressive rock and psychedelic rock. They are also regarded as an influential proto-punk band. Their lyrics favour urban and science fiction themes. Many musicians, dancers and writers have worked with the band since their inception. Jack Frost (born John Dempsey in Jersey City, New Jersey, United States) is the American guitarist/founder of the heavy metal band Seven Witches and also a part of The Bronx Casket Company. Frost is also known for playing guitar on Savatage's tour in support of ''Poets and Madmen'' in 2001 and 2002 before being dismissed from the band for unspecified reasons. Flotsam and Jetsam is an American thrash metal band that was formed in Phoenix, Arizona, in 1981. Before settling on its current name in 1984, the band had existed under three different names, Paradox, Dredlox and Dogz. Their current lineup includes vocalist Eric "A.K" Knutson, guitarists Michael Gilbert and Steve Conley, bassist Bill Bodily, and drummer Ken Mary. Flotsam and Jetsam went through several lineup changes over the years, leaving Knutson as the only constant member. E-Force
Eric Forrest (born 1970) is a Canadian heavy metal musician. Active since 1988, Forrest is best known for playing in a number of metal bands, including Voivod, E-Force, and Project Failing Flesh. Career During the late 1980s and early 1990s, Forrest was a member of the bands Liquid Indian and Thunder Circus. He joined Voivod in early 1994 as bassist and vocalist, picking up the nickname "E-Force". He recorded two studio albums with Voivod, '' Negatron'' (1995) and '' Phobos'' (1997), and the live album '' Voivod Lives'' (2000), before departing in 2001 when original singer Denis Bélanger returned. Darxon is a German heavy metal band formed in Dortmund in 1983. Bad Steve was a German Heavy metal music, heavy metal band, composed of former Accept (band), Accept members Jan Koemmet, Frank Friedrich and Dieter Rubach, as well as former members of more obscure bands Kanaan and Sin City.
