Mauricio Verón
Mauricio Rodrigo Verón (born 3 July 1977) is an Argentine footballer who plays for Concepción FC in Argentina. Career Verón started his senior career with Argentino de Rosario in 1998. In 2000, he moved to Córdoba-based Club Atlético Belgrano, where he spent the 2000–2001 season, his sole one in Primera División. He then signed for South Korean top flight team Ulsan Hyundai. In the course of his career, Verón accumulated more than 166 caps for multiple clubs of various levels of Argentine football league system, scoring no less than 11 goals in process. Due to injuries, he only participated in four Atlético Tucumán's matches in the 2008–2009 season. Granadero Baigorria is a city in the south of the province of Santa Fe, Argentina, located directly north of Rosario, on the western shore of the Paraná River, and forming part of the Greater Rosario metropolitan area. Primera Nacional (usually called simply Nacional B, in English "National B Division", and known as Primera B Nacional until the 2019–20 season) is the second division of the Argentine football league system. The competition is made up of 37 teams. It is played by teams from all over the country. The Torneo Argentino A (in English "Argentine A Tournament") was one of the two leagues that formed the regionalised third level of the Argentine football league system. Clubs in the Torneo Argentino have indirect membership in AFA, while clubs in the Primera B Metropolitana (the other third division) have direct membership in AFA. All teams with indirect membership are from outside the city of Buenos Aires and its metropolitan area (Greater Buenos Aires), while most of the direct members are from the aforementioned area. The 2004–05 Argentine First Division season saw Américo Gallego's Newell's Old Boys win the Apertura title after a fierce battle against Vélez Sársfield for the supremacy. Vélez soon got over the disappointment after winning the Clausura with Banfield finishing second despite playing most of the tournament with a young squad because they were also competing the Copa Libertadores de América. Huracán de Tres Arroyos and Almagro were relegated to the Nacional B after lackluster performance while Argentinos Juniors and Instituto played the promotion against Atlético de Rafaela and Huracán, respectively. Primera B Metropolitana is one of two professional leagues that form the third level of the Argentine football league system. The division is made up of 17 clubs mainly from the city of Buenos Aires and its metropolitan area, Greater Buenos Aires. Originally created as the second division, it became the third level after a restructuring of the system in 1985 that ended with the creation of Primera B Nacional, set as the second division since then. The other league at level three is the Torneo Federal A, where teams from regional leagues take part.
