Mauricio Pesutic
Mauricio Santiago Pešutić Pérez (b. Punta Arenas May 3, 1948) is a Chilean Actor with a long career on tv soap operas, film and theatre. He studied Drama and Film Direction at the Catholic University of Chile. He also wrote and directed 3 short films in the 1970s. He has performed a wide range of roles but stands out as the villain. In 2001 he was awarded best supporting actor at the APES awards, and in 2002 he won the Altazor prize for best TV actor. Punta Arenas (; historically Sandy Point in English) is the capital city of Chile's southernmost region, Magallanes and Antarctica Chilena. The city was officially renamed as Magallanes in 1927, but in 1938 it was changed back to "Punta Arenas". ''Floribella'' is a soap opera that was produced in Brazil, Portugal and Chile. Each of those countries had their own cast, but the show had exactly the same name. ''Cómplices'' () is the 18th studio album by Mexican singer Luis Miguel, released on 2 May 2008 by Warner Music Latina. The record is a collaboration with Spanish musician Manuel Alejandro, who wrote and arranged the songs, and co-produced the album with Luis Miguel. ''Destinos: An Introduction to Spanish'', also known as simply ''Destinos'', is a television program created by Bill VanPatten, who at the time was Professor of Spanish and Second Language Acquisition at the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign.
