Maurice Sutton
Maurice Sutton Jr. (born July 31, 1989) is an American professional basketball player for Mahram Tehran BC of the Iranian Basketball Super League. He played college basketball for Villanova University and then carved out a career in Latin America. High school career Sutton attended Largo High School in Largo, Maryland. As a senior, he averaged 18 points, 13 rebounds and nine blocks per game in 2007–08. College career Sutton attended Villanova University in 2008–09, but did not play and chose to redshirt the season as to maintain his four seasons of eligibility. In his freshman season at Villanova University, Sutton played sparingly for the Wildcats. In 26 games, he averaged 1.8 points, 2.3 rebounds and 1.0 blocks in 10.3 minutes per game. In his sophomore season, his production increased slightly but he still had a similar bench role to his freshman season. The power forward (PF), also known as the four or strong forward, is a position in basketball. Power forwards play a role similar to centers. When on offense, they typically play with their backs towards the basket. The NBA G League, or simply the G League, is the National Basketball Association's (NBA) official List of developmental and minor sports leagues, minor league basketball organization. The league was known as the National Basketball Development League (NBDL) from 2001 to 2005, and the NBA Development League (NBA D-League) from 2005 until 2017. Las Abejas () is a Christian pacifist civil society group of Tzotzil Maya formed in Chenalhó, Chiapas in 1992 following a familial property dispute that left one person killed. When members of the community took the injured man to the nearest town for medical attention, they were accused of attacking him themselves and jailed. When family members realized what had happened, they began a pilgrimage on foot to San Cristóbal de las Casas. Along the way, Christian pacifists in other villages joined the group, which is dedicated to peace, justice, and anti-neoliberalism. Las Abejas freed their companions and grew as an organization. As the Zapatista Army of National Liberation uprising took place in 1994, Las Abejas stood in solidarity with Zapatista ends and principles, but not their violent means. Chris Raymond Gatling (born September 3, 1967) is an American former professional basketball player. Gatling played for many National Basketball Association (NBA) teams from 1991 to 2002. He played for the US national team in the 1990 FIBA World Championship, winning the bronze medal. College career Gatling played three years at Old Dominion University after transferring there from the University of Pittsburgh. He is ODU's sixth all-time scorer with 1,811 points. He also hauled down 859 career rebounds which rank him ninth all-time. Gatling is the school's all-time field goal percentage leader at .606 (697–1150), and is second all-time at ODU with (12) 30-point games. He shot .620 (251–405) from the field in 1991.
