Maurice J Koury
Maurice J Koury (1929-2016) was an American textile businessman and philanthropist who founded Carolina Hosiery Mills inc along with his brother Ernest Koury. Carolina Hosiery is the largest manufacture of socks in the US. Carolina Hosiery Mills Ernest Koury started the company in the basement of their parents home in their hometown in Burlington, NC in 1945 after returning from serving the United States Air Force. Maurice joined after he finished his bachelor's degree in chemistry from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1948. The Koury brothers had been operating the mill for over 60 years before his death and it is now being led by their immediate family. Wrangler is an American manufacturer of jeans and other clothing items, particularly workwear. The brand is owned by Kontoor Brands Inc., which also owns Lee. Its headquarters is in downtown Greensboro, North Carolina, in the United States, with production plants in a variety of locations throughout the world. Realtree Outdoors, known in full as Bill Jordan's Realtree Outdoors, is an outdoors hunting show in the United States. The series debuted in 1993 and has become the top-rated, longest-running Realtree hunting show on TV. The show now runs on the Outdoor Channel, with new episodes airing weekly.
