Luisa Mattioli (23 March 1936 – October 2021) was an Italian actress. She was active in cinema and television during the 1950s and 1960s, and was notably the third wife of Roger Moore. Biography Mattioli met Roger Moore in 1961 while filming '' Romulus and the Sabines''. However, Moore was married to Dorothy Squires at the time, and the couple was not able to get married until 11 April 1969. The couple had three children: Deborah, Geoffrey and Christian. Pietro Andrea Gregorio Mattioli (; 12 March 1501 – ) was a doctor and naturalist born in Siena. Biography He received his MD at the University of Padua in 1523, and subsequently practiced the profession in Siena, Rome, Trento and Gorizia, becoming personal physician of Ferdinand II, Archduke of Further Austria in Prague and Ambras Castle, and of Maximilian II, Holy Roman Emperor in Vienna. Mattioli described the first case of cat allergy. His patient was so sensitive to cats that if he was sent into a room with a cat he reacted with agitation, sweating and pallor. A careful student of botany, he described 100 new plants and coordinated the medical botany of his time in his ''Discorsi'' ("Commentaries") on the ''De Materia Medica'' of Dioscorides. Massimo Mattioli (25 September 1943 – 23 August 2019) was an Italian artist and cartoonist. Mattioli debuted in 1965 in the periodic comic book '' Il Vittorioso'' with ''Vermetto Sigh''. Marcus Laborne Mattioli (born 18 October 1960 in Belo Horizonte) is a former international freestyle and butterfly swimmer from Brazil, who participated in the 1980 Summer Olympics for his native country.
