Mattias Mainiero
Mattias Mainiero (born 6 June 1955) is an Italian journalist and editor in chief. Biography Mainiero was born in Torre del Greco, Naples, Italy. He started his career as journalist in 1979, writing for the newspaper ''Vita''. In 1981 he moved to the '' Giornale d'Italia''. In 1984 Mainiero agreed to become editor of '' Giornale d'Italia'' end after of ''Fiorino''. He was editor until 1987. After, he contributed to other newspapers and magazines, like ''Il Borghese'' and ''Il Messaggero ''Il Messaggero'' (Italian : "The Messenger") is an Italian newspaper based in Rome, Italy. Torre del Greco (; nap, Torre d' 'o Grieco; "Greek man's Tower") is a ''comune'' in the Metropolitan City of Naples in Italy, with a population of c. 85,000 . The locals are sometimes called ''Corallini'' because of the once plentiful coral in the nearby sea, and because the city has been a major producer of coral jewellery and cameo brooches since the seventeenth century. The magazine has been in circulation since 1950 and is named after the conservative Borghese family. History and profile ''Il Borghese'' was established by Leo Longanesi in 1950.
