Matthew Mendy (born 13 June 1983 in Serekunda) is a football defender from Gambia, he currently plays for FC Jazz FC Jazz is a football club from Pori, Finland. It plays in the Finnish third tier Kakkonen. It was invented in 1934. FC Jazz has won two Finnish championships ( 1993 & 1996 ). Serekunda (proper: Sayerr Kunda or Sere Kunda, ar, سيريكوندا, sometimes spelled Serrekunda) is the largest urban centre in The Gambia. It is situated close to the Atlantic Ocean, Atlantic coast, south-west of the capital, Banjul, and is formed of nine villages which have grown together into a larger urban area.
