Matthew Kreuzer
Matthew Kreuzer (born 13 May 1989) is a retired professional Australian rules footballer who played for the Carlton Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). He was selected first overall pick in the 2007 AFL Draft. He announced his retirement in September 2020. Junior career Kreuzer played for St Mary's Greensborough Junior Football Club, part of the Yarra Junior Football League, in Melbourne's north as a junior, before moving to the Northern Knights to play under-18s football in the TAC Cup in 2006 and 2007. Kreuzer established himself as both the team's No. 1 ruckman and as a key forward during that time, scoring 51 goals in his 33 games with the Knights. In 2007, he won the Morrish Medal and the Knights' best and fairest, and he was selected in the Victorian Metropolitan and All-Australian under-18s teams, and in the TAC Cup Teams of the Year in both 2006 and 2007. Northern Knights
The Northern Knights is an Australian rules football club playing in the NAB League, the top statewide under-18 competition in Victoria, Australia. They are based in Preston, representing the northern suburban area of Melbourne. The Knights are one of the six original clubs set up as part of a plan by the Victorian State Football League to replace the traditional club zones with independent junior clubs. Lachie Plowman
Lachie Plowman (born 11 September 1994) is an Australian rules footballer who plays for the Carlton Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). Plowman originated in the Macedon Ranges from Sacred Heart College, Kyneton. In 2011 and 2012 he played in the TAC Cup for the Calder Cannons, playing primarily as a tall defender. He was drafted to the AFL by with the third overall selection in the 2012 national draft. He made his AFL debut in the opening round of the 2013 season. He played eighteen games for Greater Western Sydney over the first two years of his career, winning a regular place in the team in the latter part of 2014. An elbow injury limited him to only two senior games in 2015. Alex Silvagni
Alex Silvagni (born 29 September 1987) is a former professional Australian rules footballer who played for the Fremantle and Carlton Football Clubs in the Australian Football League (AFL). Early career Silvagni did not play in the TAC Cup as a junior, but instead played for his school, Haileybury College winning a premiership in his final year in 2005. He joined the Casey Scorpions in the Victorian Football League in 2006, winning selection in the VFL's under-23 team. He had two successful seasons in 2008 and 2009, playing mainly at full back, but also pinch-hitting in the ruck or forwardline, finishing 5th in 2008 (2nd best non-AFL aligned player) and then third in 2009 in Casey's best and fairest award, being awarded the most consistent award in 2008 and winning selection in the 2009 VFL Team of the year.
